I'll see your Luton and raise you an Anfield or London Stadium. Each division has a selection of poor grounds and great grounds, which can be saved for a Summertime thread.

Anyone got the tube route to take from Kings Cross to the ground? Ive seen turbo2 has given you the info but for anyone else, if you go onto TFL ( Transport For London) you can plan tube and bus journeys, so say Stanmore to Seven Sisters return and it gives you the lines and journey times. Also note you can tap in and out at electronic barriers using a contactless debit card, cheaper and easier than buying tickets.

King cross to Liverpool street (Victoria line) then Overground to white Hart lane station King cross to Liverpool street using the Victoria line? I take it you've never travelled around London? Victoria Line from KingsX will take you to Seven Sisters from where you can take bus, train or long walk Alternatively Circle /Metropolitan / H&C will take you to Liverpool St from where you can take overground to White Hart Lane

Liverpool Steeet overgound to White Hart Lane is 22 mins. Then a 5 minute walk to the away section.
Liverpool Steet overground on the Stanstead Express to Northumberland Park is 15 mins then a 12 minute walk (CHECK it actually stops there - not all of them do!)
Victoria Line on the underground to Seven Sisters & then walk up to the overgound (2 mins and no need to leave the station) for the overground 2 stops to WHL.
Or any bus from Seven Sisters to the ground - usually the ones ending in a 9 like the 149 to Edmonton
Or A 25-30 min walk.
If you decide to walk, the Beehive Pub is around half way and away fan friendly. It is a very good pub with good beer and no aggravation.
The Antwerp Arms is away friendly & a community owned pub.
The Irish centre is close by WHL station and away fans welcome although it is a bit like a school hall or something.
I think the Elhmhurst is also welcomes away fans but i have never been in there (it closed for a while but i THINK it has reopened).
And as mentioned above, use a contactless card. If you regsiter it free on TFL i think it works out slightly cheaper.

Serious question, do you go to the same trouble for all visiting teams (Arsenal and Chelsea excluded) or is it our karma for applauding Sir Harry off last season ?

I will try and provide info to some teams fans but only a few. You lot have been decent to me and a credit to your team so I have no qualms about helping you out as much as I can. Woolwich and the rent boys would get directed to our 'chaps' pubs....and let them suffer the consequences.

There's a good piece on the BBC Sport website about todays first test game at the stadium Read that earlier. The comments are not surprising, mixed bag of WUM's and well wishers. One thing that did surprise me was the price of the ale - all things considered and it being London + a captive audience, those prices aren't what I actually expected. They're clearly not WMC prices, but they're not that shocking when you consider the price of stuff at these places in general & what you pay for a pint in London in general (other than Spoons). Not sure about the cashless thing though. I get that it's about speed and modern lifestyles etc. but think this could have been introduced later. I'm sure it'll be ripped to shreds and feted in the same volumes, but outside of the pitch and seating it does look a bit like football has met IKEA...

The ground is shite, in the stabbing capital of London, we will get absolutely hammered, the journey will be tortuous, both there and back and it's going to be a lovely day in Yorkshire, so don't bother going.
It is now almost exactly 51 years since my first visit to The Lane, 30th March Spurs 5 - 0 Burnley with Greaves scoring his 300th league goal for Spurs. The least you lot can do is avoid booking tickets for this game..........at least until those with 375 points can get one!!
Just one!

tbwah, Have you made it up here for either of your away games ? Chalk and cheese really, last season you destroyed us, it was men against boys and over after 20 minutes, Harry Kane got a standing ovation of the majority of home fans ( this upset dome of the others ) and went down well with the away fans. This year we were really unlucky to lose, denied a clear cut penalty and ended up Booing Harry Kane who played more like Vardy and looked to dive and constantly moaning at his friend the ref. Anyway, I'm delighted to get the chance to visit, Spurs is one of just a handful of grounds I've yet to see Town play at, new or old, I've done over 160 so far.
PS in case any of your newcomers start taunting us with "You've never won fuck all" will you point out to them that after we got promoted there was a "Woolwich" fan came on here to offer his congratulations and added it's great to have another new team to the Premier League, especially when they've got more league titles than Spurs !!!

You will love our new place if you make it. I never got to either Spurs game at yours unfortunately due to family commitments. Leicester are the worst for thinking they are the only team to ever win the title. JCLs.

You serious,Anfield and the London stadium are far from poor grounds, if you mean the atmosphere the times we`ve been there then fair enough, there may well be better grounds, but poor...no chance!

Sorry, got to disagree regarding the London Stadium. Wasn't designed for football and can never be a proper football stadium. Reminds me of The Withdean. Should have taken my binoculars.

Roughly 60,000 fans inside and yet they have to play crowd noise through the tannoy system when the teams come out onto the pitch, that tells you there is something not right.

Have to agree. The London Stadium is not great for football. It is a top class athletic Stadium.

I’ve got enough points but my mate is on 260 odd. Anyone not attending with above the 300 points willing and able to help at the 11th hour before having to risk it in the ballot? Just 1 needed. Thank you
