The viewing area (& view) was very good (just a pity what we were watching was so sh*8te). However am I alone at being a bit underwhelmed by the facilities in the away end. Seemed too few food / drink outlets for the numbers in that area and very overcrowded. Not what you'd expect from a new stadium heralded as ground-breaking. It seemed like there was a whole area to the left of the entrance that would normally be further facilities not being used. Surely if it's needed for NFL it's needed for fans travelling away for football. I'd wager an awful lot it is COMPLETELY different in the home areas. PS When I eventually got them Pie and pint were very good but amazed at the lack of choice for pies. Breakfast pie or vegetarian. The 'Spurs' minced beef pie is very good. I don't think the ground is totally finished yet but finished enough to open. Some of our concourses are also quite crowded. I have found a bar away from the popular one in the South Stand where me and all my mates meet. Still busy but small queues etc. Apparently on our first two games the bars and food outlets took in the region of £8-900k. That's been this season's transfer budget for us the 900k. That is pretty impressive though if that's true. Match day income must be 2 to 3 million when you take in to account refreshment, programmes, club shop and hospitality. It's probably a massive boost to the local economy too. Have tickets been made available to local people to at reasonable prices?

Heard a tottenham fan after the game saying to one of our group hat he`d paid £2,200 for his season ticket(most expensive),for that you also get a pie and a pint every match...but can only redeem the offer at half time....great value, part of the package was also a match programme, but they`ve stopped doing that now and if you give them your e-mail you can view it online, unless of course you opt to buy one anyway.

Great! I was hoping the longer walk and the fact that the tube runs more frequently than the overground trains would mean that it would have less of a queue. Let's hope the early kick off keeps people back. Insider tip between me, you and the gatepost. Go to Tottenham Hale. It is a 5 minute shorter walk and much much less busy plus you get on the Tube the stop before the masses get on at Seven Sisters. Good advice thanks. Tube was deserted after the match, although I was surprised how few got on at 7 sisters. Disappointed with the concourse/bars. Too crowded and it didn’t appear particularly different to some others apart from the toilets being rather nice. Couldn’t be bothered queuing as I had my young un with me.

One fan on the tube after the game asked me how much my season ticket cost. When I said that the total cost for me and my son for next year was £365, he said that he had paid £1000 more than that for his alone. He didn't mention getting any extras though. Just shows how far apart our worlds are.

Thing is, don't get why London clubs are so expensive? Have they just conditioned their fan base that it is what it is?

When they were advertising their season tickets for this season they readily admitted that they were targetting a different type of fan i.e. one that has a lot more disposable income.

Concourse Culture
Maybe it's an age thing, so can someone tell me the benefit of buying a pint of beer for £4 then throwing it up in the air.
TBH crossing the concourse was quite dangerous after the match yesterday it was so slippy and sticky
