By all accounts the club and Siewert were building a relationship a long time before he actually came to the club. Hmm. I’m very far from convinced that JS is the man to lead us into next season. I’d want to see some positive signs if I was DH and I haven’t seen any. None whatsoever.

we were in the game for most of it..Schmeicel made 2 very, very good saves and we finally got a penalty.. The PLAYERS then showed their utter lack of professionalism , again.. Sievert is waving us up the pitch and the players hold firm, then run away which caused the last 2 goals.. Too fucking easy to blame the new manager who was left with a team devoid of anything much in the way of a Premier League attitude.. Hogg being 'wrong side' time after time and then arguing after the free kick goal just about sums it up.. 'Its some c-nts fault, its those c-nts fault, but its not mine' ? Thought Lowe and Shmeicel were motm... we have lacked 'professionalism' since November, blaming the new bloke is just the easy way out for those who are 'hard of understanding'... These games are being played because we are contractually obliged to see them out, some of those wearing shirts obviously feel very much the same.. We again 'assisted' the opposition to win a game that at 1-2 was not set in stone for a leicester win.. Wagner could not get a full professional approach from this squad when we were still in this division and it wasnt doom and gloom, how the fuck is anyone else supposed to do much better when its all but over and now definitely over.. stop fooling yourself that losing by a goal was so much better, we never EVER looked like winning 99.9% of those games and we did at least look like scoring today.. Give him a chance without this huge fucking black cloud hanging over everything.. We got a few good hidings when Wagner came in, the pretence that everybody could see what he was trying to do is just that, we didnt go down, thats all.. His 'identity' took a while to be seen... hard of understanding really? Surely any new manager should be looking to reverse the decline in professionalism not rubber stamp it then fall out with them all after 10 games Not accurate - the Danish contingent and a useless Belgian. But this will affect the team spirit. These players need to go before we can start again.

If the board don’t hurry up and appoint a Director of Football and don’t have a proper transfer budget next season then whoever is in charge will fail
This current team is weaker than the team that won promotion
Whoever the manager is
And let’s not forget Wagner got more out of the sum of the parts of that promotion team

I’d want to see some positive signs if I was DH and I haven’t seen any. None whatsoever. This. For everyone who thinks he needs to be given time to build his own squad, tell me what evidence there is that he's the right man to do that? More so than Mick Wadsworth, Stan Ternent or Chris Powell. Because I haven't seen anything at all. No leadership, no motivation and no tactical nouse.

Sadly nobody needs telling that Jan has iherited a squad mainly made up of de motivated players who lack a footballing brain , and too many that lack premier league or even championship ability
These failures are " WAGNERS LEFTOVERS" before he walked out of the club " and more or less impossible to come straight back up with whats required to bring the present squad up to championship top 3 standard.
Doubt Hoyle will trustly a relatively unknown manager with the leftover/ incoming parachute funds that are the future of the club, and feel it is vital that a director of football be brought in A S A P who knows both the British and foreign markets.
Even more vital that we re build a team around Mooy if that were still possible .

Said at the time he was brought in the chances of him being successful were slim to none. Now think it’s lower than that. I know it’s not his team but I have zero confidence in him being the man next season but would love to be wrong. define success in terms of the utter shite with no goals scored that we were watching before against a team that at least scores now and again and has SOME SHOTS? ? His success for me will either be seen after a reasonable amount of time in a league where we start on level terms with every c-nt else and we dont have some players who think they are too good to be here and can no longer even be arsed to make it look like they care.. other than playing schindler, kongolo, love, grant and mooy plus 6 under 23s, what else can he reasonably be expected to do.. there was little or no upturn with a new boss coming in and given we had lost 12 in a row, mostly without bothering the scoresheet and defending at times worse than a poor under 10s side, the progress with these fuckers is not going to be quick or at all.. Its not his team, it was no longer Wagners, indeed it was nobodys team, it had ceased to exist as a cohesive or confident or useful unit.. Remember the 'experts' who just could not see Wagner getting anywhere with us, they all became 'told you so's'.... Overnight success for the side this bloke inherited was scoring one or two, the rest was long dead.. Wagner had just about given up any hope of us scoring never mind winning..

hard of understanding really? Surely any new manager should be looking to reverse the decline in professionalism not rubber stamp it then fall out with them all after 10 games Not accurate - the Danish contingent and a useless Belgian. But this will affect the team spirit. These players need to go before we can start again. They all look disinterested, its likely we wont be able to shift all of them. Maybe its the manager not the players?

Shit selection again but not a lot of choice but to play the 11 that he did. Not sure what he could've done about Hamer's errors. The players don't care about the results week to week. So lets give him a chance to build a team of people who want to play for him. If it goes wrong next season I'll hold my hands up, but the state of the team this season isn't Jan's doing.

When Wagner got on board, results didnt go our way, but we could all see what he was doing and trying to implement. Siewert has done nothing, no change or shifting in progress, we have gone backwards. I dont think many have warmed to him, his personality etc. My opinion, Dean needs to go away, see what managers are available, with great man to man management, tactics and a personality that will endear him to the fans and the Town. If this bloke is in charge come the start of next season, it will make for interesting viewing on here. If tactics and man management do not improve I envisage us struggling. The players are not good enough for the Premiership and I doubt they are good enough for the Championship. As usual we lack pace, movement and above all else we lack goals. Lack of goals is nothing new to us at town this problem has been with us for many many years. Take a look back in time. I do fear for us. Is this new manager up to the task? I think the players are far from up to the task. We carry on supporting but it would be nice to really have something positive to shout about. Once Wagner had gone, I personally felt that all was lost and that, as you have correctly said above, jan was on a ‘hiding to nothing’. We should have kept Hudson as caretaker and appointed someone with a few games to go or in the summer. I would say it’s the benefit of heindsight but u did say this on this board at the time. Not looking for pats on the back. Just mentioning a fact.

He's had long enough to get them organised, they weren't organised. They either aren't listening or not capable. Either way that's the managers fault. So it's the managers fault if they're not capable? How's that then?

Yes, exactly what we need now is ANOTHER manager. Thick as pig shit some people - stop being so reactionary and look at the bigger picture. If the rumours of him losing the dressing room are right and we continue like this until the end of the season then don’t be surprised if Hoyle goes skiing ! If someone is clearly not up to the job then you don’t carry on regardless... doesn’t make people thick as pig shit having a different view either. We were relegated when he took over. Nothing has changed. He’s got a six month pre-season to try things out. I’m sorry if it offends but this reactionary rubbish is an indication of someone being thick as pig shit whether you like it or not.

His 'identity' took a while to be seen... hard of understanding really? Surely any new manager should be looking to reverse the decline in professionalism not rubber stamp it then fall out with them all after 10 games surely a manager who instructs and coaches and tries to instill some pride and passion deserves much better than some of his squad merely wearing a blue/white shirt and collecting their money, whilst telling the media they are too good to be here?? yes he is fucking right to fall out with 'senior players' who have spent much longer this season letting the club down than he could possibly have.. He isnt rubber stamping it, he has to pick a team from what he has and he can shout and his arms about and be HONEST after games, if the underachieving over paid fuckwits fall out about that they they can fuck off for me.. Fulham brought in a man on ridiculous managerial money to save them, it failed, it fails as much as it works, sometimes it works for a couple of weeks etc.. Its not DEPENDANT solely on the new manager but the character of some of the players, that is the failure here, its a tough league and we have to be on it for every game to have any chance, they have failed badly in far, far too many to work for it.. Some of the 'chasing back' was fucking abysmally poor today, hogg spent all game wrong side and arguing with everybody else about his errors.. The new bloke never really stood a chance, nobody would have.. I gave Wagner a good length of time, this bloke gets the same.. Lets not fool ourselves we were/are still out of our depth but when no c-nt is swimming or even doing doggy paddle long enough or hard enough you will sink..

I also said at the time that we might have been better with an appointment until the end of the season as a bad run could lead to the new manager being replaced. If we continue like this I think he will be relieved of his duties due to the importance of next season. Shame if it does happen.

So because some views are different to yours, we are thick as pig shit? Show me what he is doing or at least trying to do in the 2 1/2 months of being here? Nearly half way into your 6 month pre season and its culminated in blame, lovers tiffs with key players and tactics that have bemused. Stats speak for themselves, we are worse on results and performances than when DW was in charge this season. Replace and under performing boss at another place of work and bring in a new one who performs worse, falls out with his employees and has no change up in direction or tactically, then what happens? He may be given the benefit of the doubt for a few months, but will too be on his way. This is no different, there is zero change and a nosedive in everything else. But we are all thick as pig shit if we dont get on board with JS.

He gets to get his own players in. These players are no way good enough for the prem and are used to a defensive style. We have an exciting prospect now in Grant, who will spearhead the front of an attacking 4-3-3. Lets just get this shite season out the way, clear the deadwood, and judge him when he gets his own players in.

I’ve said it before but Norwich fans were saying the same thing about Farke after his first few months. Let’s see who he brings in and where we are come Christmas time... Farke had done well at Lipstadt, got them promoted twice, then went to Dortmunds 2nd team. Siewert got sacked by a 4th tier side for having them in the relegation zone, went to Dortmund and now hes gone back to his relegation days. Can add to the fact that Farke had a substantial career and understanding, Siewert didnt have one tbh. Whos he shagging at Town to get this job? I dont really think he was the right man, personally wasnt joyed, but i wasnt with Wagner. After 5 or so games, i liked Wagner and i liked his thought process and how he changed us. I still dont like JS after more than double that

His post match interview was scary-he took Stankovic off because of his yellow card he claims-so the massive early second half improvement with Mbenza on was due to his and Hogg bookings....ffs-and he played Mooy out of position wide right first half. When Mooy went central second half threading the ball forward and two beauts to Mbenza we looked miles better. As for Mounie he should never play again-not one decent challenge.....

He's trying to solve a multitude of DW's problems, while the club plummets out of the PL.
His job is impossible

So as another Pig Shit person smart arse, what is the BIG PICTURE? We certainly have not had a new Manager bounce but Southampton have The team do not appear to be trying very hard for the new manager The new manager appears to have fallen out with a number of the squad ( I don’t know if this is true but it appears this way) We appears completely disorganised as a playing unit The new manager is blessed with dealing with the appalling transfer buys from last year. The new manager has no proven track record and we will be entering the most competitive league next season In my view as a pig shit person I also think it’s a wrong appointment and we should part company at the end of the season as in my opinion our new manager is a fish out of water.

I very much doubt any top premier league manager could have done much with this presents squad as simply you cannot get blood out of a stone as the saying goes Sadly too many of our so called better players have got their eyes on the exit door , and more a case of Jan using the final games to look at the players who will be with us next season The time to judge Jan will be next season ,but must be given time to prove himself similar to how Norwich have handled matters with Farke
