Massive game tonight, England have never gone further than semi finals before in either Euros or WC. Up against the best team in the competition so England will probably need the rub of the green a bit but here's hoping they pull out a top performance and do the business. Another screamer from Bronze would be nice but if England get a set piece like that again the American defence will be all over her like a rash. and sirrah I am greatly afeared that they will fail tonight as well.... |

I was actually wrong anyway, forgot they got to final of Euro 2009 and got a bit of a pasting from Germany. Fingers crossed for them tonight.

Bardsley not starting is a bit of a worry but otherwise a strong lineup. Rapino left on bench but she rarely plays 90 min anyway and it could go to extra time.

Very vulnerable down England's left side you could see it coming. They've fought back from a goal down to USA before though so not over yet. Can't concede a second though.

The USA goalkeeper is good though. They are enthusiastic and they chase and harry, but the interplay is non existent. |

if people don't like women's football fair enough but can they stop these arrogant patronisingly critical posts. Having seen the absolute dross that Town have served up for over a year it's a bit rich - if you dislike/don't rate women's football please watch something else.
