it'll be a bit strange back in the Championship having spent 2 seasons in the PL, but we'll be renewing some battles with old enemies and going to grounds we know and love...
Luton will be a first for over a decade this time, Barnsley and Charlton are back...then the usual 'others' Derby, Boro', Forest, Wendies, Brum, Hull, Brentford and of course Stoke, WBA and Swansea from the season before last....oh, and Leeds..
But who will we play first ? Will it be home or away...the last 6 seasons have seen us A, H, A, H, A ,H so Away seems likely for starters...
Last seasons first game was Chelsea, and before that Palace, Brentford, Hull, Bournemouth and Forest were first up
So, what is your prediction for the first fixture ?
I'll go with - Charlton (away) ...

It's a lottery but I will go for Forest away Friday night on TV I predicted Forest away correctly on here a few years back. I'm going for Luton away this time.. |

I remember us having Forest away first game before because it falls on the same day as the Riverside Festival only a stone's throw from City Ground. We've had them twice away on the opening day and Notts County too. I know, been in Nottm over 30 yrs. The Notts County game was one for the scrapbook : Joey G had a really good game😉 |
