Zanka will go for at best the money we paid for him, and although Billing has the potential the situation at present won’t work in our favour for getting as high a fee as we may have got if he was in the squad and we were looking to keep him....think billings fee will be relatively modest and add ons being the part that could drive the fee up over time 8 weeks ago, I’d have argued strongly against this but with all the negativity surrounding both players, got to say I’d now probably agree with you. However, will the club submit and sell either for a lesser fee just to get them off the books or will we dig in, hold out for what is perceived to be true worth and/or let them rot on the sidelines in the meantime? Guess it depends who blinks first. Seems a bloody long time back that Zanka bought fans a pint & earned himself all that goodwill. ☹️ |

Hopefully there is competition for them, so we don't lose out too much. At the same time, we're not going to be running around last minute paying over the odds for replacements either. |

Guess it depends on how much any potential new buyer needs either of these players. Both have talents that should be in demand somewhere, and as the deadline approaches clubs that haven't found their target players yet might stump up something near what we're asking ? Depends how desperate they are and what else is on the market, and at what price.
