true.. I have an iron will.. My only weakness is beer.. Gin.. Red wine.. Pork pies.. Cream cakes.. Curry.. Chips.. Crisps.. And brandy.. This is shirt advertising To be fair, if I were earning £60k per week I'd be happy to look a twat dancing as well... It would be nice, even if it were only the once, for a club to stop ripping off their loyal support by pumping out shite & needless merchandise season after season. Our new 'third' kit, how many kits do they really need? Doesn't take a rocket scientist for clubs to decide which kits they can wear to avoid clashes... |

Hopefully someone will offer that, then we'll make a £7M profit  Fee was 13M Euros I believe? Why do people suddenly think he cost half that? Why do you believe it was €13m ? It was a rumour on here. Now there's a rumour it was nearer €5m. The ones that do know ain't saying 😉 |

Anyone think this furore has cheapened the club a little, after the last 2-3 seasons building our profile to a level that could have got us a slightly more professional sponsorship deal?
All this 'bantz' stuff is rubbish really. There will be contractual clauses that state PP are allowed to take the piss as they are doing. That's not bantz, that's hard commercial terms that have been negotiated & I think there's only one winner in the long run.
Of course we'll all get over it, things will die down, but this is just another example of how football has morphed into a marketing vehicle for sponsors & how off the field shite gets more airtime than the performances on the pitch.

I'm with you on this, and who'd done the deal! I was driving to work this morning wondering if its not a PR stunt as is actually for real as everything seems serious from the club but thankfully the FA are intervening so we should have a normal sponsored shirt sometime soon. Seems the club or Jarvis has got too desperate for a sponsor and just said yes to every idea they've had, the stuff they are doing is just not us, we're not that desperate for their money and I'd like us to do things with class. Jarvis or someone mentioned Huddersfield fans have a great sense of humour after the chants last season but they were mostly in reaction to visiting fans taking the pee with chants, and us letting them know they wouldn't get to us. |

I'm not ITK, but I am assuming that at least part of the variance relates to the fact that we were relegated. Another difference may be that one number includes and one number excludes last season's loan fee. |
