I’m old or just sensitive or does this video sum up perfectly what is wrong with the modern football/social media world? How disrespectful is that? I’m all for a joke but I got sick to the back teeth of us being ridiculed in the premier league at the expense of a club (yes man city I’m looking at you) that are famous for being rich!!! And now it continues into the championship. I hope this is shown to the manager and players!!!!

I think this is more of a dig directed at the pundits and media at large who said pretty much the same things in the prem - but they really meant it.
It's a bit of light satire. I think it's funny and life's too short to not laugh at yourself a bit. Good to have a high profile sponsor.

The Twitter video was viewed by ~28k people in one hour. HTAFCs post announcing the very same was liked by 178 and retweeted 50 times in the same time frame.
If it is perceived as embarrassing, then it could be said that it is as embarrassing for them as it is us.
Fucking relax. Don't take it too seriously. Take it for what it is; a self-effacing (a sport of most Yorkshire-folk), low-key yet successful PR exercise that will land on the phones of nearly every sporting punter (one way or another) in the country and be talked about. I've already had two messages form lads I haven't spoken to in over six months.
It could be far, far worse.
