Bockhorn ain’t the issue. It’s Flo that’s shite, and he ain’t ‘non-league’.
Herbert has been far the better full-back so far and he’s arguably playing out of position; the fact I’m saying he’s stronger and better in the tackle should come as no surprise. He’s driven forward every time this second half and did so in the first. Give the bloke a break. I have watched Flo for two years however and I’m still exasperated by him. There’s just no end product with Flo whatsoever.

One minute we need new full backs then the next? See how we go, see what transpires over the next week and then a few games 'in anger' and then maybe start ditching players and complaining about what we failed to bring in?

Sounds like our Rolls Royce has been wrapped in cotton wool for next week. Grant replaced by Col.

Been a lot better second half, Mbenza lively since he came on.

Grant gives me that same feeling as what Rhodes and Stewart did. He's fucking quality and I'm going to games knowing he will score.
That freekick from that distance is ridiculous.

On today’s evidence,Tommy Smith and Chris Loeve need replacing ASAP.Time to spend some dosh. I'm watching Stoke v Leicester on YouTube. Smith just lost his man, Chilwell, caught him up and made a half-hearted attempt to block the cross. Nutmegged by the cross which resulted in a second Leicester goal. Not covering himself in glory here.

Probably our best performance pre-season. All bodes well. Mooy back to his baldy best. Montpellier made to look ordinary.

We should have been on for Ben Osborn who Shef Utd have just signed from Forest, but I recon they've paid big bucks for him & he would have been a bench option for us with the formation we're playing under Seiwert. Very good left sided player, he is.

Going to be a firm fan favourite I reckon!!

Flo should have buried that chance. Very poor miss - he does panic in these situations. Surely we have/will get better than him, and whilst I'm on it Quaner and Kachunga added absolutely nothing. Thought Mooy made a difference.

I thought town looked very good today. A completely different team to last season. We looked like we could score against very good opposition and we were easily the better team. O brien looks like he will be class, Mooy looked back to his old self and Mbenza when he came on oozed quality.
Keep these players and get in some class full backs and we can easily get top 6

Decent friendly. Lewis O'Brien looks very good. It will be very interesting to see who runs out against Derby. Good and bad all over the pitch but they high pressed really well against a decent side. Flo should have buried that last chance. I would like to see some money spent on a better right back, Flo's passing, and the shot, just not quite there. Possibly shown up because he sees a lot of the ball but doesn't inspire me with confidence. Maybe another striker as well but we have Mounie coming back so that is an unknown with this current squad. Good performance all round, especially second half.
