I reckon if we don't get a grip early in the game QPR, after their excellent result at Stoke, will get at us and look to use our apparent uncertainty. Without being melodramatic I think it is now a massive test for Siwert, his methods and his motivational skills.
For Jan the pressure is building he's either got it or he hasn't, Saturday won't be the deciding factor but it will be a good indicator.
Fascinating in many ways...but if like me you have a ticket you go with a little apprehension after Monday.

QPR are no great shakes and we've got the third most valuable set of players in this league. Close call one way or the other - the sensible bet is the draw. I think we'll learn a lot more from this game than we did from the last.

Looking forward to seeing Tommy Elthicko's diagonals to 5 foot 5 Alex Pritchard. What a good idea that was. I pissed myself laughing when a cross went in the first half to pick out Pritchard for a header. Which, obviously, he couldn't reach.

Are you a l***s fan by any chance? I don't understand why people object to other Town fans betting against Town, we do it because it's worthwhile if the price is right. For the record we don't want Town to lose, we'll take the loss on the chin and be more than happy with 3 points. Exactly, I had £100 on Newcastle at evens to beat Town (at Newcastle) in our 1st PL season. Was upset about the result but the extra £100 softened the blow.

Put on another thread I'd put TK to CB, Bockhorn to left back, Reece Brown if Bacca isn't fit and play shortarse behind Grant and one of the speed twins

I’m seeing town matches as a buffet situation. Hungry teams will feast, others may just browse until they have had a sufficiency.
It’s been like that a while.
Hopefully we can start to make ourselves less appealing. I just want to see some aggression and fight for a start.

I have never, and never will bet on Town losing, or drawing come to that. It's like backing l***s to win..... It's just wrong! (IMO) Can't you just see it as insurance ? I backed the infamous last day treble of 2001..... £10 at 20/1ish......absolutely devastated when it happened but the payback of £200 notes in the skyrocket to go up Town afterwards and drown the sorrows with.

This is how we’ll probably line up. Kamil Bockhorn - Elphick - Schindler - Kongolo Mooy - Hogg - O’Brien Diakhaby - Grant - Pritchard I'm going to be disappointed if i arrive at loftus road to find he's playing. A total waste of a shirt.

I'd line up as follows;
Kamil Elphick - Schindler - Kongolo MBenza - Mooy - Hogg - O’Brien - Diakhaby Grant - Kachunga

RVLP - Grant - Pritchard

I suspect it'll be the same starting eleven with Bacuna and Mooy the right way round.

For the record we don't want Town to lose, we'll take the loss on the chin and be more than happy with 3 points. Regardless of price it’s despicable for fans to place bets on their own team losing. Rubbish. It's only despicable if you are involved in the game and can therefore influence the result. It's a win win situation, either Town win or you collect some cash. It doesn't mean you'd rather win your bet, it just softens the blow of Town losing. Christ we'd have all made a packet last season!

Looking forward to this game. Meeting up with a load of Hammers in Bethnal Green early doors. Then down to the usual haunts around Kings Cross to meet up with me pals. Wouldn't it be just grand if get a result. Been a while. Still it will be a blast I have no doubt and get to see some pals. Ainley you coming? TTID

Will be a tough game, however like someone else said earlier, hopefully the players will be less nervous playing away from home. Let's hope so! UTT
