Do not understand all the moaning about VLP he doesn’t want to be at town!! Get a fee use on someone who does want to be here....this is what happens at every other football club, get over it...

It's obvious why we started playing him. Because he's better than all the other dross wingers at the club.

Wasn't expecting this at all. But now he's gone, it's gonna be interesting to see how he gets on against Bayern Munich and Tottenham in Red Star's CL group games. Strange that a team of that calibre wants him. He'll be sat getting splinters in his arse from the bench. I watched Red Star the other night, he isn't getting in that team for the champions league. I suspect they've bought him for the league games before or after the group games.

Surely negotiations of a player moving to bloody Belgrade not Bradford take a bit longer than a few hours when first contact was made at 4pm which would of been 5pm there time. Then announcing it in the middle of the night. Very odd goings on at the minute. Big Phils setting himself up for a not very pleasant time with his bullshit. You've heard of transfer deadline day right? You know, where loads of footballers move clubs on the last day of the transfer window? Not sure why anyone thinks this is unusual, it takes them no time at all, all the paperwork's done by fax. With just under 40 hours to go, plenty of clubs who qualified to CL or Europa group stages this week are looking for last minute bargains to add to their squads......could be a bumpy ride for us tomorrow?

1_____________________ PH. Hello MrX, you are about to be announced as our manager next week and you have seen all our players play, yes? MrX. Yep PH. Well we have had an offer for VLP for £1m + add-ons. MrX. Let the fucker go, he'd got no future here under me, anyway. PH. Thanks MrX MrX. No problem boss. See you for the press conference. 2_____________________ To all doubting that a deal can be done in 7 hours, have you never noticed what goes on on transfer deadline day when deals can be done in 7 minutes? Yep. My fault.

I've never heard so much bullshit in my life coming from the club. If he's off he's off, but let's not try and sugarcoat it with how they've gone about it and with those kind of statements. www.fifatms.com/itms/worldwide-transfer-windows-calendar/According to this site the window in Serbia closed last night, so yes, it would have to be done pretty sharpish.

"Huddersfield Town Chairman Phil Hodgkinson commented: “We received the offer for Rajiv during the Luton Town game and both him and his representatives made it very clear that he didn’t want to be a Huddersfield Town player anymore. “The Club always has to come first and it’s important that the players in our squad are fully committed to the cause. I want players who want to play for this Football Club and its fantastic supporters; they deserve that. “The offer meets our valuation and the player gets the move he was pushing for.” Sounds like RVLP pushed his way out too. Of course he wanted out. He and most players will be more than happy to jump ship. It only takes a phone call to Lowe, Depoitre, Mooy etc hear their tone of voice, their freedom of positivity to want a way. We're a sinking ship. Don't be surprised if there is more out by Monday. "Phil,Phil" "Yes Jules" "Don't forget my fantastic supporters bit Phil".. Patronising at its highest level. No way will this bloke do a questions and answers again..

What on earth is going on? Selling players whilst we don’t have a permanent manager in the middle of a match? You might not like VLP and he might not be right for the club but the way we conduct our business over this last window is baffling. Another player gone that we can’t replace until January. Good luck whoever to our next manager.

Seems pretty self explanatory to me. PH unwinding a couple of years of awful recruitment and terrible attitudes. Not easy and not pleasant for us all to watch but sadly needs to be done So Mooy was terrible recruitment and had a bad attitude? .....all the rest released without adequate replacement? Smith and Lowe were bad recruits and had bad attitude? Selling players after the point we can replace them is just daft plain and simple. The person managing the team thought he was the best option to play yesterday. Surely that has to indicate we've weakened a team in the midst of a relegation battle for (in today's football terms) f*** all. ......& then you imply you think that is self expanatory action and the logical approach. Cheers Phil. Some cracking examples you’ve put in there Mooy has been with us 3 seasons. Loewe the same. Smith signed from Man City as a youngster. Clearly not who I was referencing. But all wanted to leave by the way. Is that PHs fault? Or is that a reflection of where they saw the club heading under the coaching of Siewert or the atmosphere in the squad based on transfer decisions sanctioned by......I’ll let you fill in the gaps here What exactly has VLP done over the last 3 seasons to suggest he’s worth close to the sums paid out for other wingers on our books (not that I’m suggesting for one minute here that they’re any better. We’d probably struggle to get a million from Diakhaby or Mbenza right now). As were struggling the myth develops all of a sudden that VLP is the magical answer to our issues. Mooy wanted out. Sadly that came a day before the end of the window and slightly surprisingly only one club was interested in him. Thus we didn’t get the money we wanted but we keep a player on the books and hopefully can benefit from future value RSB are just benefitting from a transfer strategy that we adopted for a few years in picking players up for low prices when their stock was low and clubs needed to sell. Unfortunately we’ve gone away from that and spanked tens of millions on absolute garbage (sanctioned by..........)who seem to not understand the concept of fighting for their place, to honour their contracts. PH made it clear this would be a painful window. Sadly no one listened to that part of his Q & A. Whilst I’ve made it clear on here that he has been naive in some of his other responses (and my disappointment at not replacing Loewe) I can’t see how anyone can judge the guy based on his 2 months in charge. It’s been a nightmare.

Might be way off the mark here. If Danny Cowley is in the running for Manager, I’ve seen it mentioned there is a hefty compensation of over £1m. I wonder if the sale of VLP has a similar amount coming in and DC will be announced as a result? If that is the case then we clearly have no ‘war chest’ for January! Remind me again how 2+2 = 5... 😉

Seems pretty self explanatory to me. PH unwinding a couple of years of awful recruitment and terrible attitudes. Not easy and not pleasant for us all to watch but sadly needs to be done 1. The majority of last summers recruitment remain 2. This would be fine... but hasn’t reinvested in the squad 3. And got rid of 2 starters (Mooy being our best player) on the last day of the window / beyond when they can’t be replaced 1. Show me anyone interested in them 2. Aside from not replacing Loewe rightly so given our staffs ability to pick a player over the last 2-3 years and the uncertainty over the manager. But maybe spanking £25m in a hurry would have been a better idea for those with short memories so we could bring in the next generation of Diakhabys and Mbenzas. 3. Not overly happy about this either but maybe if 2-3 clubs had actually expressed an interest in buying him we wouldn’t have been forced into this action.

Who knows. Not particularly enjoying life as a football supporter myself right now but IF we head to league one (and there’s a lot of football to play before then) I might be in a minority but I certainly wont be placing anywhere near 100% of the blame at PHils door. Manager appointment and preparation for January transfer window are key to PH now. Sure the playing squad would have been discussed with all the potential new managers, maybe, just maybe, the proposed new manager was happy for him to go. Maybe the proposed new boss plays a completely different system. You’re talking far too much sense mate

Alternatively.... MrX. VLP who was part of the promotion and first PL squad? Well it’s not ideal to lose a creative outlet outside of our transfer window but at least we’ve still got 20m worth of wingers from last summers signings. They will be able to cause some damage and have a team built round them eh? Phil? Phil? PH. Sorry mate the line is breaking up. What’s that? I can’t hear you mate. I’ll see you tomorrow. Line goes dead and PH spins round in his chair cackling and strokes his cat.

It's dangerous to keep openly saying players can leave if they want to.. It gives players an easy out and sometimes it won't necessarily be good for Town. What if players we want to keep say they want to leave, how do we say No to them if that has been our stance ? I was only half being serious about Grant but I don't think he's the striker we all thought he might be after last season. I was hoping he'd net us £20 million plus when he moves on but he looks very average at the moment. The ball bounces 5 yards away from him when attempts to control it He's scored 4 goals in 6 games. In a team that hasn't created chances in years and is 2nd bottom of the championship. What more do you want?

I like him, but forget that for a second. Everybody wants out, we haven't won in a long time and the place must be miserable. Lowe, Wagner, Smith wanted out, not just Zanka, Billing, VLP. We don't have a better replacement and the window is closed. We don't have a manager to make this decision. Fully expect Mounie to be sold today now. He hasn't played a big part this season, but would you be OK with that? Would be delighted for this useless lazy, goalless striker to leave definitely. Hope he never pulls on the shirt again!! How little will people settle for as an acceptable valuation?

Think I’d rather he went on loan and hopefully banged in some goals to raise his value Right now if I wanted a statue I’m sure I could pick one up pretty cheap

Good luck whoever to our next manager. Maybe the new manager saw VLP in the first half yesterday and told Phil to sell him before Monday's deadline if he'd had any serious offers? Phil phones his link to Red Star - they say yes we'll pay the £1m as discussed - and bingo! It's then announced rather late at night by an excited social media intern at Red Star, so Town have to quickly cobble together a statement because the cat's out of the bag. This is all my own work and I'm absolutely not 'in the know'... but it's makes a lot more sense than some of the shite I've read over the last few days on DATM.

Tell you what - if he fucks about in Serbia like he has done here he won't last long...their record towards BAME isnt the best in the world....bye Rajiv - have a good life - see you at some reunion or other in the future when you can tell us all about Depooites wig and if you fingered his wife and if you really did get a big "close" to Wagners offspring This was the biggest surprise to me ,that is their attitude to BAME players !
