How many of our last 50 matches has Van La Parra started? How many of our last 50 matches have we won?

Reports say he’s signed a contract paying €500k a year. Sounds about right to me for Serbian football. That’s £452k, or £8,692 a week.
He’ll have been on at least double that here.
So, he’s either that desperate to leave he’s taken a 50% wage cut (unlikely), or were still paying some of his wages...

Some cracking examples you’ve put in there PH made it clear this would be a painful window. Whilst I’ve made it clear on here that he has been naive in some of his other responses (and my disappointment at not replacing Loewe) I can’t see how anyone can judge the guy based on his 2 months in charge. It’s been a nightmare. Well TBF you said the "self explanatory" answer was "PH unwinding a couple of years of awful recruitment and terrible attitudes". Not many of those with the (apparent) poor attitude have gone so I wondered if you meant these? Plus part of "what the f*** has been going on" that I want explaining is why these players (who I don't think fit your "self explanatory" explanation at all) were allowed to leave without adequate replacement........or is that f*****g self explanatory as well? PH also implied that when we sold players they'd be replaced. Plain and simple hasn't happened (and now it's impossible to happen until January). When the two months have been as sh*8te as these and coupled with intelligence insulting explanations from the Chairman, it might be too early to pass sentence but surely it's not unfair to be either formulating an opion of what the judgement might be and expecting reasonable answers to justify the situation?

VLP, Wolves couldn’t get rid of fast enough, reason , crap attitude. Wagner got shut of VLP because of his attitude. Pulis , sent him back to Town ASAP, not performing in training, piss poor attitude. The guy is a first class disruptive asshole, suprised Town put up with it for so long.Good by and good riddance .

Do not understand all the moaning about VLP he doesn’t want to be at town!! Get a fee use on someone who does want to be here....this is what happens at every other football club, get over it... Use the fee to get someone else who wants to be here? Really? 🤣 Cos a) we can’t sign anyone till January unless they’re on a free; b) that assumes we’ll spend any money received - which we didn’t really do with any of the money received before the summer transfer window shut at our end; and c) the calibre of player we’ll go after attract haven’t exactly set the world alight thus far have they? RVLP wasn’t 100% committed, I get that. However, the statement from PH lacked class not to even recognise his involvement getting us to EPL and staying there for a bit. Another badly handled bit of PR trying to make them look like they bleed blue and white whilst others don’t but it’s a shame.

I was very sceptical of VLP when he joined Town from Wolves. Always felt he’d flatter to deceive, and, overall, I think that’s how it’s turned out. Ironically, I think much of his best work was defensive. He often helped out the left back pretty well and he could relieve pressure by holding onto the ball. Scored the occasional goal but barely ever assisted in a goal though, and that’s been his biggest failing.
We made a profit on him, but only a small one. I think the club wanted rid, for various reasons.

At least we made a profit on VLP, no chance of that happening with our other flying wingers.

Why should he have pandered to the ego of VLP? I must have missed all those social media posts that folk paste on here about him knuckling down and trying to win his place back. The guy was a marmite player at best, strange how he splits opinion on here. Describe his ten best goals for us and I'll maybe re-think my opinion of him. I'm sure he'll get zero stick over there if he starts being an arse... Describe the combined 10 goals of Mbenza, Diakhaby and Quaner then you can maybe convince me we’re better off without him in this relegation battle. How many appearances have they had? Have a look at VLP's wiki page. He's a bit of a journeyman. I'll give you a clue as to his one and only honours listing. It was at a place very close to a tropical fish shop. The rest of his career sums up that he's probably been quite average. Amazing how an attitude can build your capability to something it's not... His contribution to HTFC is over stated on here.

Underperforming player with crap attitude doesn’t want to be here and we sell him as we are over loaded on the wing with players (not great ones but we can’t be accused of being short of wingers) The transfer window is closed for us to buy Not sure how much more self explanatory this can be.

Why tell everyone what transfer kitty you have, the first player we enquire about will be £20 million, a certain Theresa May has shown everyone how not to negotiate. It’s football , players come and go, it’s all about their money, they don’t really give a f**k which club they play for.

id be more worried by who else leaves when european transfer window shuts tomorrow!!.i bet nearly every player in that dressing room looks at each other and thinks whats going on no investment!!!. no ambition!!!!. best players leaving!!!. no leadership from top!!!.no money!!!!.the only good thing going for town is the loyalty of the supporters but thats not going to carry on unless things change
