The statement from PH following this sale is bizarre. VLP made it clear he didn't want to play for us yet he is in the starting 11? Wow! And are we really meant to believe that we received a bid during a match and wrapped it up just a few hours later? You couldn't make this shit up. Aye all a bit of bullshit to me. I was hoping to give him a chance, but in reality he’s a selfish prick on a football pitch. Not allowing Mounie a hat trick, at the time he thought he was on for one and wouldn’t let him take the penalty. All for him and nobody else, not overly arsed he has gone. It’s the manner in which tho has all happened, very very odd, like a lot of things this season. It’s gonna turn sour. Imagine Kongolo or Schindler or even both going today..... fuck me, I can safely say there will be some empty seats

Highlights the shambles that is a window which is open for players to go out but not come in Ultimately the player has been disgruntled for ages and hasn't exactly brought to the party for a long time I suppose the frustration is that his higher paid mates have brought less to the party and it feels like he is leaving a sinking ship. Be in no doubt there are still disruptive elements in that dressing room and or players who want out.As we cement our position at the foot of the table that becomes more so. And the players value falls. So the disgruntlemnt rises and motivation falls. Its a horrid vicious circle we are in. For example. A motivated Mounie would be a great asset in this league. But its just not going to happen. He will be desperate to get out and bearing that plus wages in mind we will be desperate to get rid. But then he leaves and PH gets pelters from the fans because it looks like all we want to do is sell. It's turning really toxic. I honestly think the fans, who are obviously feeling crap about things, are going to become a bigger part of the problem over coming weeks. And that allied with all the other shit will ensure we stay rooted near the bottom with a team which should be more than capable of competing The vast majority of fans have been fantastic in the circumstances and I can even understand the more emotionally immature ones throwing the odd tantrum. It's also people's own prerogative not to turn up, if they aren't enjoying it. However, just as the odd bad influence has spread a rot in the dressing room, which has grown as results carried on (and carried on....) being crap, there's a danger of this happening with the fanbase. More will join in, some will confront and some may be driven away by the toxic atmosphere. You then get in a viscious circle with some players not coping with the abuse, including not being brave in possession and as a result even more fans getting cheesed off, etc. We have a lot of young players, so I reckon this is a huge risk. Away from this, we still ain't a clue about the finances, and it may even be PH has had his hands completely tied by DH with how quick he wants his money and an NDA, so he can't say bugger all about it. PH is then potentially getting shit loads of abuse, when he's actually been thrown a hospital pass, and totally cheesed off himself! PS - I am not saying that is even likely the case, just most of us ain't a clue.

So we end up with shite that no bugger wants to buy like Kachunga and Quaner. Hello League One, see you very soon, in passing, as we head to a level the fat git is used to (and failed miserably at). I was hoping RVLP would want to prove a point when he got reinstated into the team but he's done absolutely fuck all! Talks a good game in his interviews but we might aswell have played with 10 men these last 3 games. Atleased Kachunga & Quaner will fight for the cause.

There’s some reet spite and bile being vented by supposed fans. Wouldn’t surprise me if Phil packs it in.
I wouldn’t personally take this level of crap by people who’ve got no idea what goes on behind the scenes and who expect a running commentary on social media of what management are doing hour by hour.
It’s one thing to be rightly upset as we all are, it’s another thing to be abusive and libellous.

1. The majority of last summers recruitment remain 2. This would be fine... but hasn’t reinvested in the squad 3. And got rid of 2 starters (Mooy being our best player) on the last day of the window / beyond when they can’t be replaced 1. Show me anyone interested in them 2. Aside from not replacing Loewe rightly so given our staffs ability to pick a player over the last 2-3 years and the uncertainty over the manager. But maybe spanking £25m in a hurry would have been a better idea for those with short memories so we could bring in the next generation of Diakhabys and Mbenzas. 3. Not overly happy about this either but maybe if 2-3 clubs had actually expressed an interest in buying him we wouldn’t have been forced into this action. We didn't have to spend 25m. We just had to spend more than 800k when we let 2 of our most talented players leave. Instead we replaced them with a kid from league 2 who can't even make the bench and a kid on loan who's a defensive mid.

Surely if someone came in with an offer for a player mid-game, you’d tell them to fuck off? We’re in the middle of a game for Christ’s sake...come back in a couple of hours. Asset stripping at it’s finest this, raping and pillaging. FFS.... Even if we told them to fuck off. It doesn't alter the time that the offer was made /received

Yesterday, after a delightful shimmy and turn from VLP and then a goddamn awful pass the bloke behind me said:- "That's s the enigma that is Van La Parra" His mate next to him said. "Careful, you haven't been able to use that word since 1978"
(Made me chuckle, anyway)

The issue isn't about whether vlp was good enough or not to be playing for us. The issue is why has Hudson brought him back into the team if he wanted out? It makes Hudson look like a fool and supporters have a right to challenge this shambles. The supporters are definitely not part of the problem. It is of course possible that prospective managers have been asked about our squad and the front runners have said they would not play VLP and they are happy if he left. In much the same way as Powell told the board not to buy Scannell whilst he was being interviewed?

That's roughly what he was on here. People think our players are on far more than they are No he wasn’t. Yes he was. Town gave new contracts for promotion but the clause was that they would drop back to pre-premiership levels on relegation. Further more the basic salaries aren't big, the bonuses are. Don't get anything when you aren't winning. Why do you think so many wanted out. Funny how Fulham, Stoke, Cardiff, etc all keep their players. For some reason ours seem desperate to play around Europe while everyone else wants to play in the premiership or championship.

With the Fee and the free wages, go get the Cowleys and sign Bakary Sako who is a free agent. That would be a bit too much to ask for though I guess.
Be more like Parkinson and Noble Lazarus on a free

They really did spend a stupid amount in the prem, they had to get rid of a few. And have brought in some real quality on loan for this division. Our transfer activity compared to the other teams when faced with relegation is laughable.

I suspect you could count the players who want to stay on the fingers of one hand, that's either 4 (or 6 if you live in the hills above Holmfirth). The rest of the team are probably just as pissed off as most fans at the way the club has been run for the last 18 months. Imagine how the players who fought like buggery to stay up felt when Mbenza and pals came in, piss poor, awful players probably on more money than many of the rest of the squad. No wonder it all went tits up from there. That's a six from me
