Really chuffed that a Town lad is playing for us now Frazier in with us. I can't be the only one who thought it was great hearing a local lad on the 'get to know' snippet on the Official Site? Made me wonder, what other Huddersfield (regional....) born professional players are out there who we could 'bring home' UTT

Good to see he gets his own thread. A bit lost in amongst the general transfer thread and the multiple meltdown ones that have been created in the last 10 days. Looking forward to seeing him play.

So excited about this signing. Quality player and potential to get bags of goals, been hoping we sign him. Said all of us in 2010. Not sure what to think about it now.

Decent signing wish we had got him when we went up would of been a decent squad member.

Can someone tell me how he differs from Grant. Is he a similar style player or are we likely to see them both on the pitch at the same time (assuming Jan sticks with 433)?

Weird signing. Always wanted Friazer to come to Town, but we don't really have a space for him. Koroma needs game time, Mounié will play when he's back and Grant is our best goalscorer.
Might mean Mounié is off.

“Now the football has surpassed the rugby and it’s fantastic to see for myself. Football is a main attraction of Huddersfield.”
How old is he? 31 ? He must be 131 if he can remember a time when the football didn;t surpass the rugby in Huddersfield! Is he getting Hull and Huddersfield mixed up?

I thought that... there was a time in the mid to late seventies where the crowds were similar. But not since

Just made a few adjustments. Hope the lad does well. Deserves to be given a chance at least. Can’t believe some have decided he’s rubbish already.

Unlike pretty much all our other signings he is actually proven at this level and at 31 he may be past his best, but not so much he won't be able to cut it. Says himself, he feels as fit as he ever has. Few clubs were in for him including WBA apparently so on a free it seems like a no brainer to get him on board if we can.

Fingers crossed the lad can have a big impact.
Someone that can interchange with grant and I guess will be busting a gut to get in the box unlike most of our current crop

Doesn’t look like he has ever been a fan but he must know some town fans. Let’s hope he doesn’t let them down.

Speaking to a Hull fan yesterday on holiday. He said the only reason for being released is because parachute payments ended for them and they can no longer afford his wages. More than capable player even at 31, and was disappointed he was leaving.

He must be 131 if he can remember a time when the football didn;t surpass the rugby in Huddersfield! Is he getting Hull and Huddersfield mixed up? You’ve got to remember he was being brainwashed by Man Utd since the age of ten and has spent since a youngish age playing at Premier League clubs plus a couple of brief Championship spells (and Belgium). Huddersfield Town as a football club probably hasn’t registered on his conscience despite his “coming home” mantra. Conversely, having spent 2 or 3 years in Hull across his career, he’ll no doubt have been well aware of the local rugby clubs, and when the Giants were playing them it would have been a “thats your team/town coming to Hull Fraizer” moment. No great surprise at all that he would consider the rugby club to be foremost on his radar. Hudds Town have been inconsequential for most of the last 15 years or so to anyone but actual fans....the rugby club has been in the top flight and on TV plenty times every season. That may be about to change of course.

This is not a comment on him as a signing or a person.
However for me a Man Utd fan from Huddersfield does not even come close to being 'one of our own'.
