The consensus seems to be Jan's days are numbered, so I've put together a poll with potential names we are likely to see linked.
Who do you fancy? This isn't a "who is realistic?" thread - all of these bar one are unemployed, have managed at our level and *could* be persuaded if PH decides to afford it (we can afford any of these if we want to)
So, fire away.

Hardly a list to get the pulse racing. Unbelievable that even though we dropped last year, we still have some very similar tired names and faces on a possible manager list.
Add the Cowley brothers please Grimois.

If not Hughton, Chris Coleman not an awful shout. Would at least bring positivity

Somebody with abit more experience whoever it is they’d need to be a strong character as they will have one hell of a job on! All depends if they new chairman of ours is actually going to pay the money needed to get someone decent in and provide them with an actual transfer budget my feeling is he won’t do it’ll be Hudson.

Just add the current incumbent of Dortmund II and there's your man.

We could buy Jokanovic out of his multi-million pound contract in Qatar.

I’m not sure Hughton would take the job.

No idea, but give me a (probably) German, who actually gegenpresses and has some charisma please. Teams in this league shit their pants when they get pressed.
We went down the right road, we just veered off down a cul-de-sac with Jan. The template doesn't need ripping up, it just needs applying properly this time.
If it wasnt for the Winkler debacle I'd be off to watch vids of Stendel in action at Barnsley.

Daft as it may sound . I'd go with Nathan Jones He’s trying to turn a very bad situation around at stoke and has cleared some deadwood out. Wouldn’t be a bad shout but it’s unlikely this time. I did offer Chadders a swap t’other day though...🤔

Chris Hughton would turn around results but I'm sure it'd be blooming miserable football. I'd try prize the lad away from Barnsley, Stendel - seems to be doing a great job and might not even need to move house.

I'm not a big fan of the managerial merry go round. There's generally a reason they're on the merry-go round to start with...
Digging out a DW is a tough job, but if JS were to depart I'd hope we don't default back to the same old & see if there is a left field appointment out there that might offer something different. We've had a modicum of success when using 'name' Mgrs, but none that have turned the club on it's head and injected enthusiasm & different regimes like DW did, more than ably supported by Dean Hoyle of course.
The only Mgrs in my time watching Town that have injected the same sort of rapport with the supporters were Buxton and Jackson. The former was in a different era and at a different level, but he sparked the club back to life. Jacko was more a heart on your sleeve, never give up sort of bloke, probably not the best tactician, but that's what Yorath was there for.
I'm struggling to see any of the above, bar Hudson, buying into the club - they'd just be coming in to take a wage & throw out a few sound-bites.

I can't even see potless Phil sacking clueless Jan and i also can't see potless Phil splashing the cash to get Chris Hughton if he did do.
Probably more likely to go tapping up someone from Halifax or Bradford Park Avenue.

Danny Crowley together with his brother deserve to be discussed and interviewed (that’s if they’d come right now). Promotion from the conference is one of the hardest things to achieve and they followed it up with a second promotion and going great guns again - no fluke.
Tactically Lincoln were excellent last night and had us chasing shadows.
They are full of desire and ambition , that you could see last night as they never stopped coaching and motivating all the game - they even took the warm up drills but aye that was due to staff shortages , or maybe they use this to get there players motivated and ready for the battle.
Anyway they certainly impressed me.......unlike SIEWART.

Nigel Adkins. DH made a mistake employing Clark rather than him all those years ago.
