Nigel Adkins. Very good motivator and man-manager. Worked at this level before. Knows Frasier Campbell well. Northerner. What's not to like He also knows Elphick from his loan spell at Hull last season. I don't mind him, some of the ultra positivity can be a bit false, but he has proven that he can build successful sides in the past at Southampton and Scunthorpe. He has been interviewed for the Town job in the past I believe. The spells at Sheffield United and Reading in recent years would be a concern however. |

Another vote for the Cowley brothers, totally transformed Lincoln. My main concern would be our players reaction to managers who have not managed or played higher than league one. if one PE teacher fails,,try two together 😉 |

Alex Neil done a good job at Norwich and Preston and monk as ik the thing with Wagner and Leeds but he did great job with Birmingham and Leeds with no money and getting them up near the play offs

Personally I find pressing football the most pleasurable to watch. Lots of comments that we were never free scoring under Wagner. True - but I still found the pre Spurs brand exciting football. Even when the opposition was in possession , it felt like something could happen. So..... whoever it is I’d like them to believe in a high press. Without very much research at all that leaves me picking the guy from Barnsley - the fact that I can’t remember his name shows the degree of ignorance surrounding my pick.

Jacko, like Warnock can galvanise at the point of the match. Dressing room was probably his strength. Get the best from a bunch. Raising the belief and emotion. Some of these are jogging about.
