8 votes for Allardyce? Fuck, that must be Stevie Wonder voting Two questions: 1. Is Stevie Wonder actually a Town fan? 2. Why does he get 8 fucking votes?

Personal abuse isn't nice I’ve a feeling you’ve been called much worse. 🎻 No .. not to my face .. thing is .. You say something.. I don't agree .. You don't agree with me .. that makes ME argumentative.. Maybe I was right.. Maybe you was right .. difference being I don't call you names

Nowt changes on here everybody sticking the boot into fellow Town Fans, stop it! Don't you know the board read this to find a new Manager. David Moyes welcome aboard. Cant afford and he would laugh his tits off with an approach. Welcome aboard Mark Hudson, he costs SWEET FUCK ALL, is the one they'll go for. Houghton not for me, boring footy but would he want it. If you think Moyes is the answer then you deserve the boot stuck in... Town fan or not. And... Hughton's footie is boring but Moyes is the answer? I'll also offer a personal bet of £100 at even money to you right now that Mark Hudson will not become the permanent manager of Town this season. Why you in the know? , even money you mental

Examiner stating they believe MH will just be in temporary charge I wonder if the actual manager will be required to keep Hudson or might he be out on his ear?

Thanks for repeating. If you keep repeating one day it might make sense This guy is an argumentative tosspot and always thinks he’s right. How many people in this forum, or any other, post things without thinking they're right? Seems a strange criticism

Plenty more where that from!
It looks like we've reached the Bottom Line.
Nagging questions always remain.
Why did it happen, and who is to blame?

The only glimmer of hope I have about the next appointment is that it’s PH’s first so if there is a “big name” out there might he try use some of the Billing Money ( or Rhodes money ) to persuade someone and get everyone back inside?
I suppose the reality is probably not but just a thought.

I remember McLaren coming to a few games when we were in the PL and seemed to be palley with Dean. He did well with Derby, wonder if he’s in the frame? If he is, he’ll need a bloody big brolly at the JSS, the wally.

Apparently met with Sebastian Hoeneß, but planning on meeting others over next couple of weeks with David Webb heading initial shortlisting.

Maybe someone up and coming rather than the same old faces (Pardew etc):
Lee Bowyer? (with reservations about his past, but doing very well at Charlton)
Cowleys? Done a great job at Lincoln.
Michael Flynn? Long shot, but raising Newport from the ashes.
Others?

I don't think we'll be going down that route again Not saying you need to have been a good player but we've got a lot of numptys in our squad who will only respect someone who has achieved certain things in their career. It appears they don't want to take instruction from someone they deem to have less idea than they do

Apparently met with Sebastian Hoeneß, but planning on meeting others over next couple of weeks with David Webb heading initial shortlisting. Hoeness is another Siewert regarding experience to date. We need a tough motivator, someone with a playing record the squad can respect. He needs to be a successful modern coach, and an English speaker with a pragmatic view on formations. I don't know anyone British available or realistically likely to join us who fits this spec, so it's down to Webb et al to find us someone from Europe. Fingers crossed, this will be a watershed moment for us.

Just seen Gary Monk is 14-1 . If anyone wants 140s pm me He'll never work in football again or at least not as a manager. Birmingham sacked him due to his dealings with agents. Then turns out that was one of the reasons Middlesbrough got shut of him. After that Leeds come out and say they didn't trust him with transfers, due to dealings with agents.

If he is, he’ll need a bloody big brolly at the JSS, the wally. That's my call due to the same reasons. That he spent ages studying the tactics late in the 2016/17 season. He was possibly being sounded out about taking over if we didn't go up and Wagner jumped ship.

It's the obvious appointment given Webb starting tomorrow but it's a bit early days to be going solely on the new chaps recommendation

One of the strengths of Wagner’s regime was that the club got a reputation for developing PL loans stars. In the podcast DH mentioned that Man City approached Town about Mooy and I doubt its a coincidence that we managed to get Brown and Palmer. We must be a million miles away from that reputation at the moment and it’s probably going to be important as we go back to buys for the future and short-term loans. That means another difficult choice for the Chairman. We can get someone in who like Wagner can demonstrate a coaching style and way of playing but that might take time or we can go for a ‘name’ with an existing reputation and contacts. A ‘name’ with experience might be too pricey but someone has already mentioned Nicky Butt and there are already some mentions, mine included, of Phil Neville. My first choice would be Houghton but I’d rather go for one of these than someone with lower league experience.

Bit of a laughing stock now but not long since he was England manager and obviously a good coach.
