Back to the game. I know it was only a short intro, but Chalobah didn't have anything like the spark Kasey P provided. I'm hoping he's a bit hungry and turns out to be a good loan signing. Not going to judge him on one substitute appearance, but for a Chelsea player his passing was poor tonight. Seemed quite easy to get past for a big guy too. Tough game to come on in though, and hopefully he'll settle and improve our team. Not fair to judge him on one cameo appearance, and not all players slot straight in. Was hoping for more, but will give him time to prove himself.

He replaced Bacuna who had a shocker, unfortunately Chalobah was no better, he was as equally poor. He wasn't as bad as Bacuna, who was heading into Kwami Hodouto territory with that display. Well no but he did give the ball away a lot.

Also, not wishing to be too critical as their 2nd goal was a belter. But think O' Brien? could have stepped up quicker after Flo needed to track the lad overlapping. Just to to give their lad a little but more to think about.

Agreed. That was the first time I've seen him and I too was very underwhelmed. Particularly by his lack of technical ability on the night. My dad said he was poor against Lincoln too. He's a different player to Palmer and Brown, but I did hope for more from him. We were very fortunate that Palmer and Brown both hit the ground running, and were both very good for us. Let's hope Chalobah comes good too - we've had enough crap signings recently!

Just to to give their lad a little but more to think about. Might as well be critical, the club, players and the now dearly departed manager have taken some right hammer so full your boots with criticism. Thought Flo had a good game, O'Brien was ok but squandered possession needlessly at times with sloppy passing and poor decision making but yeah, it was a good finish but no way should he have been able to do what he did.

I thought O'Brien did well but he's just a tiny bit off the pace at this level. Another season in League One would have been a better option, I think.

Bacuna should never have been on the pitch after his abysmal performance against Lincoln. He made four bad mistakes against Fulham.

Positives: Grabara - kept us in the game with several good saves in particular 1 on 1 with Knockaert - best new signing Trev - thought he added some steel - will find his feet Hogg and Schindler - the two players who likely own the dressing room both played well O’Brien - got another game under his belt and did OK

Showed his defensive qualities in that tussle with Mitrovic. Criminal that he wasn’t brought on earlier.

He's our most influential player at the moment.

Let’s hope the people who appointed him, after tracking him for so long, have a slightly better plan B. It’s alright firing the manager but someone higher up thought he was a good appointment. Let’s hope some lessons have been learned, As some have said, probably too early for him. He came with some good people's recommendations. This was one of those things, given our circumstances & a growing number of entitled supporters, that was going to result in spectacular success or glorious failure. Sadly (for HTFC) it was the latter. It was nailed on for failure and nothing to do with entitled supporters! The guy can't manage people, it was blindingly obvious from day one. I don't know about his coaching but it's irrelevant when he's so deficient in the other area. The club fucked up big time with the appointment same as they have with a lot of players, no excuses. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

Replacing Mooy and Billing is the main task. I can't see us dominating any match with the current midfield incumbents, O'Brien shows promise but as stated, not quite ready for this league. We really would be in the shit if either Schindler or Kongolo left in the next two weeks. Mark Hudson has a really tough task. He will deserve the job if he gets this lot playing well together.

For a start it was criminal to not start vlp but To be fair.. The 1st half performance was probably the best we played this season- pressed as a team and got in their faces.. But then sievert got it all wrong.. Bacuna had a shocker 1st half and should have been swapped for chaloba at half time.. 5 mins in bacuna gifts them a goal and then he makes the change.. Then at 1-1 the game was there to be won.. On 70 mins we needed Vlp on for o brien..pritchard to play the no 10 role. He did nothing.. Until they scored.. Then made attacking changes too late. Onwards.. Next manager crucial.. I believe this squad can challenge for the top 6.. Under the right leadership.. Utft
