Fulham started the season with a 1-0 loss at Barnsley but bounced back with a home 2-0 win over Blackburn. Will this game be the start of a Town revival?

Cant see past a 2,3 or 4 nil hiding. We don't look like scoring In open play. Will be a toxic atmosphere in the home stands if we dont come flying out of the blocks.
We are only an actual positive performance or result from taking alot of pressure of the club and Jan... but at the same time a lacklustre performance and its piled on not only Jan but Phil and winter aswell.
Schofield Hadj schinds elf king Chabs Hogg Obrien Diakhaby grant rvlp.
Bacuna, kacha, mbenza, mounie, grabba, bocks and stanks.

Quick, let's try and drown out the fecking moaners before it becomes another groundhog day thread... I've gone for a 2-1 win on the prediction league - it'll come folks, just have faith...

When you look at their players it's impossible to see how we could win
Knockaert always has us under his spell at this level. Wouldn't be too bad if there was just him to worry about but theyve got Mitrovic, Cairney and Cavaleiro too.

think this will be a draw. 2-2
On paper that wouldn't be an awful result but sadly anything other than a win and the chance of JS staying gets slimmer.....assuming he hasn't gone already

No creativity at all in the midfield 🤔 Finally, and I've wondered this in the league games so far, why have Bockhorn AND Stankovic on the bench ? If a full back gets injured put Bockhorn on, if a CB gets injured move TK to his proper position and bring the fullback on. Harsh on Stank but it frees up a place for someone more attacking

If we lose, but put in a decent performance I'll feel far more optimistic.

I would be playing 4-2-3-1 with Pritchard behind Grant and VLP on the left, but presumably Jan will stick with 4-3-3.

Ordinarily I'll go into these threads by picking a side that I think will give us the best chance of winning, but in all honesty I'm more concerned that whoever we put out looks like they have confidence in their own ability and understand their role in the team.

I might be reading more into this than what it is but the Fulham preview posted on the club website has no mention of Siewert, whereas in the three previous match previews this season they have started off with words "Jan Siewert's side" www.htafc.com/news/2019/august/match-preview-fulham-h/

I'm now wondering why we bothered wasting a wage and loan on him when we could have bought a left back in. Seiwert said tuesday was a chance to force your way into a starting slot, if you dont pick the standout then what does that say? Either way though, grabba or schofield. Midfield... could go bacuna or Pritchard for chabs, again obrien has been solid so deserves a place, while bacuna has been poor so far and Pritchard too lightweight unless hes on the wing so he could slip in for rvlp. To be fair I'd forgotten about him. For me I'd go 4231 and rip up what I've just said Hadj schinds elf king Chabs hoggy Kacha pritch rvlp Grant.

No way is Schofield ready to start, brilliant shot stopping against Lincoln but his distribution from feet is something that requires work. Definitely a very bright prospect but one for the not too distant future.

Very admirable. However, I’d probably have a little more confidence in your prediction if you weren’t hovering in the lower half of the prediction league table

On the bright side saves me flying over from Ireland for it.

On paper Fulham are by far the best side in the division for me. However as they get to grips with the division expect a few upsets. In 6 weeks time we would lose however the punter in me says town win 1 nil.

I think that the game on Friday will go one of two ways:
We will put on a committed, organised and positive team performance. Win lose or draw that will satisfy me and I think a lot of others.
Or we will be a set of individuals lacking in ideas desire and direction.
It's a pivotal evening for Jan, hopefully he can pull a performance out of the bag and send us home with hope for the future. The alternative can easily be predicted.

My team down the middle would see Grabara, got to be Schindler/Kongolo, Hogg/O'Brien, Pritchard behind Grant, not sure on which full backs or wide men.....get a good spine you can put whoever round the edges!
