It was pointed out from the first pre-season game this season that he was strolling around as though he's made it. I must admit that at the end of last season I thought he'd be a key man this season - I was wrong.
He is a liability waiting to happen - every match - and his passing, which I considered a strength, is nowhere near good enough.
For me, like so many buys in the last two years, just not up to it. His attitude seems wrong and his football, alas, even more so.

If I can see it, why can’t the management?

He has it but for some reason he's miles off the pace atm. Only correct thing that nob did tonight was bring Bacca off!

As much as he has been gash recently, 1 thing really jumped out at me tonight. When he was subbed after the cock and and obvious all round bad game when he came off JS at Most slapped his hand. Now any manager worth his salt should have put an arm round him. He's a young lad having a rough time and just heard people cheer as he came off, someone with an ounce of man management skills would and should have 'comforted' him.

Should have been off at half time. He showed last season he's a good player but his head isn't right a the moment. He's too busy strolling around like he's too good for the Championship

It has to be motivation because he should be one of the best midfielders in the league. The motivation has to come from himself but also as a young player in a different country it has to come from the manager and senior players (although the way Hogg went on at Kachunga the other week while the game was still going on against Derby I'm not sure it's one of his strengths so maybe someone else).

The shank for the Fulham opener was embarrassing and atrocious in equal measure. What was he thinking?

The shank for the Fulham opener was embarrassing and atrocious in equal measure. What was he thinking? He was thinking he was clearing upfield and miss kicked it. Do you think he did it on purpose?! The embarrassing thing was the crowd reaction.

Another awful performance from him I was happy when he got subbed but sadly Chalobah was just as bad.

We saw last season how good his passing can be. He was known for it in Holland too
You don't lose that over night
There is more to it and you can see the same going on with other players too. Hopefully a new manager will sort it out

Fucking comforted him? He gets paid to kick a ball round a field, not rescue children from burning buildings or get involved in unfathomable horrors in a war zone! The poor petal isn’t going to get PTSD from a few boos and some jeb-end from Birkby telling him he’s shit from Row F. Fucking comfort him!

He’s gone back to playing like he did when he first started. Erratic and somewhat juvenile. The way he played at the end of last season shows there’s a player in there somewhere just needs the right coaching to get it out.

Should have been subbed at half time for both his and the teams sake.

He's been playing with a misplaced arrogance for me from the start of the season. Players earn the right to play with a level of arrogance when they have demonstrated that they can perform the basics competently. I'm sick of him constantly giving the ball away in dangerous positions by either holding on to the ball too long or not executing a simple pass to a team mate.
Time for a spell out of the team IMO and greater focus on these things in training.

I'd probably agree with that. Even when he was the player doing the pre match stuff he could look anymore disinterested. The whole thing is a mess. Town have to get this next managerial appointment spot on.

he had a chance to play an easy wing ball down to Flo in acres of space, in the 1st half...he hesistated , dallied then passed straight to a Fulham player...that was just one of several errors..His attitude seems Billing-esque to me. The shank for their 1st goal was unfortunate but hell fire, he's a pro football who totally miskicked a clearence into his own 6 yard box ? District League stuff that... If I was to pick him I'd play him as far away from our own goals as possible, at the front of a midfield diamond..that's where I think he'd be most effective..

It seems to all stem from the bleached bit at the top of his head.. He could have simply put the ball out for a corner and let us regroup.

The embarrassing thing was the crowd reaction. Was Hogg and Schindler’s reaction to it embarrassing then too? They seemed to be having a go at him in equal measure! Players who work hard stand out and you can clearly see the effort put in. The frustration from them just exploded with not just that one mid kick but his whole attitude and performance that night!

Instead of bringing a fan on to take dizzy penalties it feels like we have brought a fan on to play for Bacuna this season after the fan has ran round a corner flag ten times ,, sure he will turn it around.

He had the luxury of playing next to Mooy & Hogg
Now Mooys gone he has to get on the ball more
And not up to it yet
Again most of you got over excited how good he’d be at this level
Still a good player in there... one or two great balls yesterday eg to Pritchard behind the full back but needs to do more basics right and not try the killer ball every time.
Agreed at the moment he’s a liability waiting to happen
