The chairman needs to make a statement very soon, this cant carry on, its a disgrace ! Only way he can get out of this is an honest interview covering ownership, how hes buying the club and an idea of what the direction of manager we are looking at, and what level of recruitment we will be looking to do in january. So far he has talked alot of bollox and deliverd nothing apart from one stand of white seats.

Does Elthick realise how ridiculous he looks wearing white boots? Put some black boots on man and stop pretending you're anything other than a limited, one paced, mistake ridden defender.

The worst bit is we've been shite all season but we lost the first game to a stupid mistake from Elphick, dropped a point due to Quaner ducking, lost due to Bacunas misplaced ed clearance and tonight to defenders pissing about and a deflection. 11 point dropped due to stupidity 😲

I genuinely forgot we had a game tonight, that's a sign of how disinterested I feel right now. Anyway, it sounds like Harry Bunn might be looking for a new club soon, could he do a job?

The chairman needs to make a statement very soon, this cant carry on, its a disgrace ! I've put a word in Nick. Before they release the statement I've asked them to check it thoroughly for grammatical errors, then place all the words in a random order just so you can understand wot it iz thei're talking about...

Yes, but we wont sleepwalk in to relegation. Town have literally given away Willy Wonkas golden ticket. £200 mill and a seat at the top table and 25 months later we look like of team of freebies in the Conference. That is the tragedy of this. Had we never gone up we would be better than that. Appalling recruitment, waste of resources and shameful that we cant even get the basics right. Press the ball, best 11, give 100%, fight and stand up and be counted. Cant buy a win. Cant buy a draw. Cant grind out a performance. No shape, no chances, no urgency and heading for Div 1. Disgusting. I wish I could like it twice How come we had to sell and take apart our team? Fulham pretty much keep going. None of their lads having a sulk.

You and a few others are missing a crucial point here - Deano approached Phil to take over. Ridiculous from all concerned. Only at Town could this happen. Agreed As Ive said before 1. How many parties were approached 2. How many put indicative bids in 3. How did Hoyle conclude that ignoring any interest and approaching his mate was the best deal for the club Agree and agree again..the rot began before Phil.. Dean and Julian seem beyond reproach but lets look at the truth.. we need to get real before we go forward

Just got back to my hotel from the match (work in Cardiff, live in West Wales), don't get to see many games these days and don't post so often either. For what its worth, I thought we were too compact throughout most of the match we had 2 wingers who wouldn't wing and just crowded the middle, always came inside and into no space whatsoever. Mbenza shaded VLP for me and as far as I am concerned VLP was a waste of space. Pritchard busied himself to not much avail and I feel Haj played more of a wingers role then anyone tonight.
Too many midfielders trying to stop them playing (not amazingly successfully) and not enough creativity. I know he got the goal but for me Chebolah shone, especially in the second half. He played some good through balls at times and held the ball well. Grant again busied himself but there were some raw edges there, some poor touches that he needs to work on. Schindler had his usual strong game and Kongolo got better as the game went on, with some forward runs late on.
One highlight at the end was Campbell's cameo, although pushed out right you could see the positions he was taking up and was nearly fed through on a couple of occasions.
I think the result was just about fair to Cardiff but a couple of final points:
---- I think Campbell up front with Grant in a front 2 is something that will work ---- At the end the player came over and to a man they all looked spent, even Hudson body language spoke volumes to me.[/li]
Who ever comes in as manager, his first job will be to pick these boys up off the floor, bring belief to them and then to us.

Wagner actually worked miracles... We are back to foul Powell ways now.. Defending is truly awful... Mistakes throughout the team....
Bring back Wagner.

My mum died in 1968 when I was 7. So when you scored those 2 goals against Blackpool in 1970 you were 9 years old? Yeah ok, fair cop!

Good job Huddersfield ain’t in Columbia! Have to be a bit more specific there. Which Columbia? Arizona, San Diego, Alabama, California? The one that shoots football players for playing shite!

I just don't understand why we're so reluctant to attack? We look so uncomfortable on the ball going forward. Premier league performances persist but now not against the world's best. Its going to take some time to build confidence with the dreadful record we have. We have a losing mentality and complete lack of belief going forward. I think most our players can play better than they have, but its going to take time, and we need a manager who, first and foremost, is going to build confidence. The Siewart period was a disaster for us, in terms of lost time, lost players and loss of belief. Its going to take some patience from everyone now, and of course, the right appointment.

If Wagner had been in charge, Cardiff wouldn't have been able to get to the edge of out penalty area as quickly and often as they did - that was the major problem. Also VLP should have squared the ball to Grant early on, and Grant should have, at least, hit the target late on as the ball might have deflected from Smithies and gone anywhere - these were just 2 of the many basic mistakes we made during the match.

What you on about now lad? I like Grabara, but why do we persist with this stupid tactic of the keeper rolling the ball sideways inside the penalty area? For God's sake gerrit forrad! We are obviously being encouraged to play it out from the back with the intention of improving our ball retention. At least tonight we actually strung a few passes together, they weren't all sideways and backwards. The possession stats compared to the Fulham and QPR games are as follows. Town 35% Fulham 65% Qpr 63% Town 37% Cardiff 40% Town 60%

Disgusting. Summed up perfectly. No excuses are acceptable for the way this club has been run since our first season in the PL. Totally galling to watch managers from other Championship clubs been interviewed and saying how all that matters is promotion . Absolutely NOTHING positive has been transmitted to us from the club for 12 months. Bargain basement recruitment for a club that has just been in the Premier League for 2 seasons is a disgrace.

We never looked like scoring and it was a complete bloody shock when we did. No team spirit, no fight, only 4 games in and we look relegated already. After that great escape at Chelsea I thought we were on our way, just a couple of quality additions and we'd have been fine but what did we get? Diahkaby and fucking Mbenza, Jesus wept! Hoyle gone.. Wagner gone.. We need to rip up the script and start again but I don't envy the new manager, he has one hell of a task on his hands.

It means nothing, Cardiff could of won that by a larger amount they missed a number of sitters. Fully deserved win for them. We had a ten minute spell in the first half but apart from that it was a shambles. You just knew they were going to score even when it got into the last ten minutes the way we were sitting back and letting them come at us which is an embarassment in itself. If we would have conceded whilst attacking and having a pop for a winner I would of been disappointed but not half as pissed off as I am with that show.

Anyone who doesn’t think we’re buggered should consider why we’re desperate to give away a £12m striker in order to save £1m in wages.
Is Jason Puncheon still available as our saviour again?

If we sell Mounie now then it just proves that it is all about the money... We need all hands on deck and that includes Mounie. What at are those running the club seriously thinking. Get rid of 3 decent full backs and sign Bockhorn... Jesus Christ. We absolutely stink of relegation, where exactly are we going to get another 45 or so points from in order to stay up ? Sunderland went down through financial mis-management in the premier, we could follow them through Inept management by the People running the club. Get your wallet out and get Hughton in rapid.

All very predictable.
No money, no signings, no confidence and no idea.
The summer transfer window was a disgrace and the Club deserves all it gets. Spending less than £1m in total on L2/Conference players and we’d not won a game since February! Clueless.
We’ll be writing this season off again before too long unless something drastically changes.
