Odds are drifting But I've watched the quest Interview with Danny cowley which nothing was denied. I've also just watched the Lincoln City Post match interview where the reporter seems to have been told not to ask him questions about his future as he says "I won't go into any of that"

I'm already seeing bits on social media from "Town fans" accusing the Cowleys of treating their players like pupils and employing long ball tactics. Probably the same fans who wanted Hughton, Jokanovic, Moyes blah. I didn't go to the Lincoln game, but did Lincoln just hoof it upfield at every opportunity? Well they are talking first class crap then. They played to a pattern......they try and play but when under pressure dont try and do what you cant. Am sick of these so called purists asking teams to do what they cant. Theres a reason man city can knock it about for fun.....they have the absolute elite of football. Theres another reason we can't.....cos we dont!!! Am not for a minute advocating long ball - just use common sense and dont try and play when it's a big risk. There are times you can take those risks.....when 3 0 up for example but that ain't happened since moses was a lad here!!!! The other aspect cowley's team had for me was they were fit and organised. That's a start!!!!

Current PP Odds:
Danny Cowley - 1/3 Daniel Stendel - 9/4 Neil Harris - 9/1 Nigel Adkins - 9/1 Phil Parkinson - 33/1 Mark Hudson - 33/1 Lee Bowyer - 33/1 Gary Rowett - 33/1
Cowley has lengthened slightly from 1/5, and Stendel has shortened from 7/1, over the last couple of days.

No way it’s a done deal with odds like that. Cowley 1/2 at most now

No way it’s a done deal with odds like that. Cowley 1/2 at most now It wouldn't be a done deal if it was 1/50. It maybe a done deal it may not be. Datm Intel suggests it is but it also was 10 days ago and they changed their minds.. You can never say anything for certain when humans are concerned. Best thing is not to A read too much into bookies odds. About 5 have been odds on already kerching B get too stressed or worried

I hope I’m wrong but I really don’t see this happening.

Wonder if when Cameo gave the thumbs up it was maybe a little premature ,the news he has given in the past has been spot on so still believe however one person on twitter has said today that Danny Cowley had turned Town down again but put no more and also nobody seemed to bite ,by his user name it seems he was a Sheff Utd fan so no bias included one wouldn't have thought .

Does anyone have a link to Danny Cowleys interview on Quest? Thanks Terrier10. For some reason I can't get onto links at the moment on my phone but I'll watch it on my iPad when I get home. 🍺

The longer this drags on the less I feel its going to be Cowley, it would be a huge uturn for him after his comments last week. I would love to be surprised when news conference is called to announce his signing tomorrow but this being town I have a horrible feeling its not going to be anyone that any of us are going to wildly excited about

From that video, it sounds like the Wycombe manager is keen on the Town job. Maybe we should sign him.

They were taken by a rag and twisted.

I am sure Maynardblue would have piped up by now if it isn’t Cowley as most of us think.

Stendel is probably the one least discussed of the supposed front runners. Not sure what I think of him myself. He doesn’t inspire me really. What do others make of him?

Don’t think he brings as much hope as the cowleys do. Wouldn’t be disappointed but similarly wouldn’t be filled with optimism. I think the key with the cowleys is they bring optimism that they could potentially be another Eddie Howe

Hannes wolf didnt take / get the bochum job could still be him I think he was our first choice but didn't want to come Perhaps we have now convinced him to Maynard said "we've got our man" which everyone took to mean as Cowley but Wolf was the man we wanted originally.

But they clearly have something about them and like I say bring optimism that is required at the minute
