Eastbourne is a retirement resort. Our east coast is the most visited place in the country except the capital. I was being sarcastic about not wanting to goto Spain. Eastbourne is a retirement place. Devon and Cornwall are fantastic. Scarborough, Cleethorpes etc are dumps. (Not been to brid for ages). But the weather is still worse than a gamble. why do you think Scarborough is a dump?

Agree with the comments on Ainsworth, has done a great job at Wycombe and he will be near the front of the queue to step up I’d imagine.

And allegedly PH is in Las Vegas, would suggest nothing is happening any time soon. I read that the other way and it sounds like an appointment is made - if it’s the cowleys it would stack up with them clearing the way at Lincoln and I guess checking contracts etc No way would PH take a holiday while we’re still actively trying to find a manager - bearing in mind he has a massive financial stake in getting this right I was joking....

I find them a bit odd to be honest. Anyone but Nigel Adkins for me though Even Harris ? 🤨 I'm not having him as ever being a viable candidate. Tbh

I was born in Scarborough and lived and worked there for some years. Used to be OK - just! - but now it is indeed very run down. But where in the UK isn't?

I'm already seeing bits on social media from "Town fans" accusing the Cowleys of treating their players like pupils and employing long ball tactics. Probably the same fans who wanted Hughton, Jokanovic, Moyes blah. I didn't go to the Lincoln game, but did Lincoln just hoof it upfield at every opportunity?

No, they played a lot better football than us and found it far easier to create chances. It was very mixed really, some very nice build up through midfield but also did go long when needed to Akinde

My surname is one you'll not find very much outside Scarborough, Brid and Hull unless they've moved out of the area, like I did. Done my family history back to the late 1600s and can't find a connection with the fishing Pashbys, but it's got to be there somewhere. My family seem to have originated in Hackness, Silpho and graduated to Levisham before moving back to Scalby then Scarborough. All very interesting stuff - well, for me anyway!

Anyone know what FIFA qualifications these boys.

Yes I know but 18/- would be the same as Shandy Bass. You have to make an exception though, he's from Essex and before moving to Kirkburton he was adamant that Fuller's London Pride was amber nectar, until an episode in the Rat & Ratchet. What say you Essex TerrierThe official view was "What the hell is this crap".....or similar...

Wouldn't it be lovely - long ball up to Mounie, he heads it down to the waiting Grant, and then back of the net ! One can only dream.

Hopefully the new manager will be able to see beyond the end of his nose and blood some of our young players rather than to carry on playing the big money waste of space signings. It’s time to realise that no matter how many times we carry on playing them that they will never ever get anywhere near justifying their huge pathetic transfer fees/wages. Lewis O’Brien should be a regular starter.and we have other youngsters out on loan who will give us more than Mbenza, Quaner etc.

If it’s tomorrow and really is a done deal I’d expect to see the odds leap to 1:20 or something. Word usually gets out at that point. Currently odds are drifting towards evens.
