Based on their forum and the utter denial that they all have, hope it’s the Cowleys just to see the meltdown after... Not sure whether this has been posted before (can’t be bothered to trawl through the hundreds of pages!) but if the brothers are announced this week, here’s what we can expect them to do...

I know someone who has horses at the same stables as a senior Town player. The player in question is fully expecting the Cowley brothers in tomorrow/Tues latest. Unless it came from the horses mouth i'm not sure this should be taken seriously. neigh lad

I understand the word and its meaning perfectly well thank you, I worked in claims and legal for 9 years. What I don't do is use it as a threat from an original post that started with "I know someone" That would be deemed hearsay at its best What's problem then? Maybe should have used something softer (untrue/false) I haven't threatened anyone either. See bold above - Hearsay at best.

Not sure whether this has been posted before (can’t be bothered to trawl through the hundreds of pages!) but if the brothers are announced this week, here’s what we can expect them to do... I've now watched a few of these 'Cowley' videos and also done quite a bit of internet snooping. My conclusions are... The brothers are partners despite the fact that Danny is three years older than Nicky. They split the wages 50/50 and have equal input into team management. Danny's wife is a former GB heptathlete who also taught at the Essex school that she and the brothers helped elevate to the number one sports high school in England (their quote, not mine). They worked sixteen hour days at Concord and Braintree while still teaching before becoming full time at LCFC in 2016. The reality of full time work in professional football shocked them and they believe they have an advantage because the work rate of a normal pro manager is doubled with their intensity. Nicky's family now live in Lincoln after commuting from Essex for the first year plus of the bros tenure with the Imps. (Possibly Dan too, but I haven't found any evidence). The Cowley's are incredibly competitive with each other and HATE to lose, but ultimately trust each other implicitly. That point was recurring in the clips I have seen. When the bros first went to Lincoln they knew direct football was the best option to stop the rot. They believe that you have to play to a squads strengths, rather than a set system. Plan B is crucial, but it's important not to confuse players with plan C or D. They are made for the community involvement that HTAFC have developed, IMO. Lots of nice stuff on the forums and both of the Mrs Cowleys' social media.

Or people could just take on board what I said without trying to play detective. Lesson learnt - Won't bother next time. Or you could take a trip to the bulb store and lighten the fuck up. Was having a laugh ffs Still won't bother sharing info again. Where is nearest bulb store?

I've asked before but what level of coaching badges do they have? I've seen nothing to suggest they've even done them (I know they must have done a certain level)

I can see a stumbling block might be getting his family to uproot once again, but I guess getting paid 10 times more should help smooth over any resistance from Mrs Cowley x2. If not, then it could turn out to be a Powell problem.
Still not fully convinced it will be them, the bookies odds don't seem right, it surely would have leaked on their side if not at our end. Tomorrow might end all the speculation.

Feel these guys are in for a tough season. They will do well to prevent this squad of players from being relegated. I am not expecting miracles from them and hope the town fans are patient and give them time to turn things around.

I think the point is that they don't have to uproot again while staying a nice distance away from their workplace. I know for a fact, that the drive to Lincoln from Hudds is usually a decent one. Google maps traffic updates caters for problems on the M62, M1, A1 etc., so it's relatively easy to redirect if there's a problem on one of the major routes. I often work away out of town and would be cockahoop if offered a job that paid more than double my current wages in a town that was less that two hours drive from home.

Its a shame if the Cowleys do come in that we didnt appoint them aftr JS was sacked or at the very least at the start of the international break. Theyve stated that they dont want to move mid season and time is incredibly important to them . Less than a week to get to know the squad and club really isnt ideal..

I heard that more half the team or the missus go horse riding, so could be anyone, so anonymity problem solved... Nope, no idea what that is meant to mean It means that whoever said whatever to KC, could be anyone of 10 or more players, therefore not personally identifiable. It’s got like Poirot on here.

The Cowleys seem to believe strongly in their methods and they definitely scan as something different to the usual conveyor belt of placeholder names that fill some of us with horror. Possibly some of their schtick might seem a bit naive, like when they are talking about interviewing the whole staff of the club including the tea ladies. But I find that quite charming, it shows some humility and intent and perhaps a bit of eccentricity .. but Wagner was a bit like that as well - double training and taking the players out into deep nature etc..

Is it too soon to start a new song... ?
Yellow Submarine melody.
We've got two, at number one. They're the Cowleys, there's two of 'em.
And they taught, the kids for fun. Before promotion, at Lincoln.
WE... ALL ...LIVE ... in a Cowley brothers land, a Cowley brothers land, a Cowley brothers land.

I like that he's big on discipline which, whilst being a failing in society in general, also appears to have been lacking at Town somewhat over the past few months if stories are to be believed. The more I read/see videos on theses guys the more I see them being just what we need. Fingers crossed its them.

Nobody should expect miracles The squad is poor following significant underinvestment in the summer - As I’ve said since we gave away Mooy, 16th would a great result. I’ve made my view on them clear from early on - They’d be excellent fits, thinking longer term

I would've named the Town player in question in the original post if I thought it was appropriate. Don't want the player to get in trouble for speaking out of turn. How many senior Town players keep horses then? Hadergjo-neigh?
