So your going to a game between two sides you don't support, to watch a couple of guys on the touchline who have already said they turned us down ? Is it free to get in ? I regularly go to games as a neutral. What’s the problem? Me too, not to watch the coaching staffs body language though. No problem btw |

Based on no inside knowledge what so ever I just dont see it been the Cowley's. Just doest add up, and with Bazman saying its Harris and minutes later Maynard confirming we've appointed somebody make me think it could be Harris !!

I hope that's a cryptic clue, not the actual man who's got the job. That was the character played by Gordon Jackson in upstairs downstairs, He later played George Cowley in the professionals  One of the featured cars in the Professionals was an Escort RS2000 Pulp had a hit with Disco 2000. The lead singer of Pulp, is JARVIS Cocker. Our Commercial Director is called Sean JARVIS Another famous SEAN IS Sean Connery. Sean Connery was from Scotland. The Hillman Imp was also from Scotland. The Imps - is the nickname for Lincoln City, where Cowley is the incumbent manager. Boom. Absolutely brilliant logic. Right up my street this one. |

I’m not convinced Cowley is the right appointment at this time but fair play if they’ve got their man, he’s clearly hot property so it will show a level of ambition and tenacity from Phil. Exciting weekend with the added bonus of not losing. Please don’t let it be Harris though!

 ! I’m not naive enough to think the club should or does always tell the truth but that’s a big bare faced whopper right there. Embarrassing. Again. Still believe everything you're told happy clappers? I'm not aware the club coming out & telling us anything regarding the manager situation with Adkins or anyone else for that matter. Any links? The only thing I'm aware of is Radio Leeds saying he'd been offered the job & the Examiner saying he hadn't? correctbyou are spot on but don't rule out the cowleys! |

The weird bit is that Oggy has "announced Adkins" but none of the others who it's pretty common knowledge we have actively pursued. For that reason I maybe wouldnt be as sure as you and Royrace are... Anyway whatever happened we have dodged a huge cliche ridden bullet if he's not coming whever has happened you still cannot rule out adkins and certainly not the cowleys. what ever may be reported publickly something different is happening in private. its all to play for! |

I can't see it being Cowley. I suspect the odds are dropping simply because he hasn't got the Massive job - i.e. the reason many of us assumed that he rejected HTFC was to go to Hillsborough.
His stock is high at Lincoln & still will be in May, almost regardless of what happens this season. I maintain that HTFC would be a good opportunity for them (even as shit as we are at the moment) but there will be other good opportunities.
I'll believe it when I see it.
