I tried to put £30 on Adkins at 16/1 with BetVictor and they only let me have £10 before cutting his odds to 8/1 soon after. I don't think anyone's getting rich from markets susceptible to insider info moves. True - I'm going Stendel, though the sudden move on Cowley even after he allegedly ruled himself out is strange It's not strange though as a pro gambler has admitted to having intel and placing a large bet on Cowley. That in itself would shorten the odds massively. Depends on how good his intel is. |

True, he ruled himself out but he’s also the only candidate we know who has been offered the job. Also he did go out of his way to say good things about town whilst doing so. I don’t think he’ll be the new manager but you have to wonder if the compensation is too tempting for Lincoln. For all their fans’ bullish talk they’re a small club with one asset. Reports also say that Adkins has been offered the job but Maynard has dismissed that, don't know what to believe... They were just reports though, based on any old rumour. Cowley has confirmed Town were after him. Which town could deny if it was some fantasy he’d made up! |

He came out and said he'd had intel and put a lot of money on new htafc manager. When asked who, he told folk to look at how the market had just changed as a result. Same time that Cowley went odds on. |

It would be a head scratcher if Harris is appointed. We will have to pay compo and surely there are managers who would be just as suitable that are out of work......unless no one wants to come!! Possibly he impressed in yesterdays interview but can't think why he was on Towns shortlist in the first place.If he is, then presumably because he's a manager with Championship experience that's applied. Can't see how he'd be a top choice, but a decent candidate nonetheless. Must admit, I'd be underwhelmed by that one - but he'd get my backing purely because he'd be our manager & would deserve a chance. It wouldn't half be a head scratcher, mind. |

cowleys - exciting unknown. could have the Xfactor to see us overachieve...but I worry they are a bit 'lower league'. might be doing them a disservice but i get the feeling they could be "get a group of good honest lads in giving 100%" rather than the modern forward-thinking (early wagner) direction we were trying to drag the club into.
adkins - safe appointment. mid table decent side, but will get all get a bit boring
harris - i fucking hope not.
head says adkins to stabalise us but heart says cowleys for that early lee clark/wagner type buzz

Seems odd Cowley has come back in so much when that one looked dead. Think that ones risky but will hopefully get support from the fans.
Can only assume it’ll be him. Never really saw Harris as our manager. Would be happy with Adkins.
