I presume it may be similar to Bühler and Hughes, in that they were let go at the same time as DW but only officially announced after compensation was agreed regarding their contracts. Wonder if the Irish women's FA will have him back, it's been that short a stay they may not have filled his job.

In all honesty, the FAI are an absolute shambles and appear to be in disarray. Bell asked for more money and resources to expand the Ladies game and got short shrift. Town came in and the rest is recent history. I doubt he will go back but football is a funny old game. |

But there is no benefit to Bell in that: after two years out of the game he would find it much harder to get work. The LMA have pretty much accepted that their members get a 50%ish portion of their remaining contract paid with a clause that they can't take a job for a short period (often 60 or 90 days) The exception to this is when a manager (or assistant) is on a rolling deal when the full contract is paid in full.
