The only 2 ball players we had have left the club, who do you suggest we put in there. I'd have the young'ens in from now on The recruitment has been nothing short of lousy. Hoyle/Podgkinson have fucked us over by not replacing with quality. With that said, we did sign Reece Brown from FGR who got over 10 goals and assists playing in CM and is surely worth a try. Bacuna also has a pass in him. I am tired of watch Hogg and a coverted CB in Chalobah constantly lose the ball and not dictate the tempo. I think you make a good point. A decent manager could also make this observation and put a more effective approach/selection.

Need an whole new style of play. I'm fed up of watching this playing out from the back sideways, backwards tiki taki sh*te. It's boring the life out of the club. Agree We also can’t out football sides with a smaller budget Burnley should be the model - hard working, aggressive and more direct - but town think they can compete with cheap kips from foreign leagues managed by a youth team coach who is assisted by a bloke from woman’s football - it’s comical

Mooy leaving was the straw that broke the camel's back. This team doesn't function without him. Another obvious point lost on the losers in charge of recruitment. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards Mooy got a fantastic no minutes more experience today. Can't deny it's been a good move for him. We can't stand in his way.

Don't know if he actually made the pitch today - he was sub again for Seaslugs - but he has made a great fat zero minutes on the grass so far. Hope he's enjoying his roller-coaster ride... again.

Jaden Brown player today and did well, the kid has played for an Under 21s team and today was his 2nd appearance at first team level. Doesn’t matter if he played in League 2, if we don’t play him against these team, we won’t know. He is definitely worth a shot with the shit on show I’m afraid.

Oh yes ? And what about Wagner, Hoyle, Winter etc etc etc - the club was in a PATHETIC mess long long before PH got involved. Get rid of the vastly vastly overpaid usual suspects - VLP, Pritchard, Quaner, Mounie, Mbenza etc etc - we all know them. Of your list there, one played 13mins today and two played none (and one of those probably isn't even in the top 10 highest earners)... But it is frustrating being a Town fan at the moment, so no need to let the facts get in the way of a good rant, eh? I was NOT talking about just today - I was talking about TWO YEARS - for example - VLP done bugger all for two YEARS, Quaner lived off his Hillsboro 15 minutes for two YEARS, Pritchard "still trying to find his position for ..." Mbenza "might soon come good" etc etc. I AM having a good rant because these very very highly paid representatives have been bloody awful for TWO years - AND THEY'RE STILL HERE...The one you mention "who may not even be in the top 10 earners" is still earning an absolute fortune every week by most people's standards.

The penalty is a dive. 2 match ban incoming?
As for the 2nd goal, Chalobah is once again doing nothing. He stands there watching the player turn and doesn't attempt to close him down.
He's getting rave reviews but that's the 3rd goal in 2 games he should have done way, way better on.

Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards As usual, Roy is talking sense. Bloody unbelievable signing lower league footballers to replace class players like Mooy. I can’t remember any team newly relegated from the Premier League to have adopted the same ludicrous transfer policy that our Board have presided over. They should be ashamed.

Last time scored 2 in any match What day that was though. How far have we plummeted since. It’s less than 2 years since we won 4-1 at Watford away the fans were fantastic with the Last Christmas song to David Wagner LD scored AM got 2 and then we had the Wagner Family Christmas song. How have the wheels come off so badly???

Im surprised the team arent fucking embarassed tbh. I am not sure we have an answer to the problems. I thought someone like Hughton or Karanka would have been a great shout before the season started, but we are in a relegation battle and we have some players who seemingly dont care about the embarassing losing record we are on. A conference side would win more games than us in this with sheer fight and energy alone. The players clearly arent dying out there for Hudson, because they are ultimately going to stop him from getting the job now. We need Pulis or Allardyce on a contract until the end of the season with a huge bonus for keeping us up, forget trying to play out from the back as we arent good enough. Keep trying the same shit for much longer and season will be gone, 1 point in 6 games is pathetic, and the players should be FUCKING EMBARASSED. Never mind the owners lack of summer spending,, these players are better than 1 point in 6 games, how they all didnt look at themselves after Siewert got sacked, I really dont know. Wrong! We are not in a "relegation battle" - battle implies that we are fighting and I'm seeing no sign of that at present.

After a couple of years of glorious and successful over-performing, this current squad is badly under-performing. This job is a good opportunity for an ambitious and capable manager. The only way is up & there are some players to work with. Sorry to piss on your chips fella but this could get a lot worse before it gets better, I really wish the only way is up but that simply isn't the case, there are some players to work with but whoever comes in won't have a magic wand so let's hope if nothing else he's lucky.

2703 days. 7th April 2012. We lost at home 2-0 to Wednesday. Just 105 wins in 350 competitive games. Just 4 wins in the last 56 competitive games. The lowest average scorers across all leagues in that 7 year and 4 month period. I have not seen us win in 30 plus attended matches. 3 incredible moments of joy and a thousand times where i would have kicked my cat if i had one. The joys of football. At least i won £2.5 grand on Gillingham to soothe the pain.

It's a dive for the penalty and a very good goal for the second. We need to be much stronger in the middle and of course we are being shown up having had mooy carry us for the last 3 years.

Ref's stitched us up there, I have to say. Goals change games. Without his help, Luton lose.
The penalty is a dive. I've seen it from both angles and I don't see any contact. He's thrown himself down and the ref's bought it. In circumstances where there's a decision to make, it's forgiveable. Almost. What isn't forgiveable is that he's allowed play to go on with a head injury to Hogg. There isn't a decision. The rule is simple: head injury, stop play. Immediately.
Yes, we need to play to the whistle. Yes there is blame attached to players. But all 22 out there know the rule and they're expecting the play to be stopped. Luton's players' reaction says it all - they're hardly moving until one decides, sod it, I'll have a pop. He expects it to be ruled out, look at how often he looks at the ref when running away. And so far as Luton are concerned, it's thanks very much for the decisions and the points.
To see today out we needed that bit of luck. I'm not going mad at them today. If we'd made individual errors at 1-0, then we'd deserve to throw the lead away. If we'd not closed down with 11 standing up, I'd be angry. But they're things that have gone against us. Should we also have had a penalty? I've not seen the highlights of it, but I've heard suggestions that Kachunga was hauled down in the box. We have to say if that's the case we've been royally screwed over.

I couldn’t get a ticket for Luton, can’t say I was too bothered. I went to AFC Wimbledon v Wycombe. 0-0, an absolute stinker, but possibly what we’ve got coming up next season the way it’s going. I can’t remember the last time I truly enjoyed a game of football. I hate it right now.
