so you think theres been some ambition ? Never said there was ambition. I just made the point our signings have been poor as well. Spending millions on Diakhaby and Mbenza was hardly unambitious was it? Just inept. You know what actually pisses me off about the amount we have wasted on these two is that if we had spent the money we have on them two on one decent quality striker we would probably be ok. As an example Brighton spent 20 million on Maupay we've wasted that much on these two jokers, we should have splashed that in January on him. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but one has to wonder what the fuck was going at the club for them two signings to be sanctioned. |

After a couple of years of glorious and successful over-performing, this current squad is badly under-performing. This job is a good opportunity for an ambitious and capable manager. The only way is up & there are some players to work with. Sorry to piss on your chips fella but this could get a lot worse before it gets better, I really wish the only way is up but that simply isn't the case, there are some players to work with but whoever comes in won't have a magic wand so let's hope if nothing else he's lucky. Our luck can’t continue either. Another preposterous refereeing decision today. |

I said bottom half pre-season because i don't see goals in the team....i now see rock bottom because i don't see any goals in the team.

Ref's stitched us up there, I have to say. Goals change games. Without his help, Luton lose. The penalty is a dive. I've seen it from both angles and I don't see any contact. He's thrown himself down and the ref's bought it. In circumstances where there's a decision to make, it's forgiveable. Almost. What isn't forgiveable is that he's allowed play to go on with a head injury to Hogg. There isn't a decision. The rule is simple: head injury, stop play. Immediately. Yes, we need to play to the whistle. Yes there is blame attached to players. But all 22 out there know the rule and they're expecting the play to be stopped. Luton's players' reaction says it all - they're hardly moving until one decides, sod it, I'll have a pop. He expects it to be ruled out, look at how often he looks at the ref when running away. And so far as Luton are concerned, it's thanks very much for the decisions and the points. To see today out we needed that bit of luck. I'm not going mad at them today. If we'd made individual errors at 1-0, then we'd deserve to throw the lead away. If we'd not closed down with 11 standing up, I'd be angry. But they're things that have gone against us. Should we also have had a penalty? I've not seen the highlights of it, but I've heard suggestions that Kachunga was hauled down in the box. We have to say if that's the case we've been royally screwed over. [ Clear pen on KG , ref was about to blow but the ball went to Diakhaby, and he thought ‘ah this’ll be a laff’ and play carried on . Decisions went against us yes, but no spark, desire or confidence in this team at all. |

I said it 4 weeks ago, Hodgkinson needs to wipe the Slate with all Deanos cronies... include winter,marsh, hudson back to 23s, Sally from accounts..... the fucking lot of them.
Clubs a shambles behind the scenes and in front of the scenes.
Let the new director of football who has been ominously fucking silent get recruit the football management team and phil take an overview of the club side.
It's a fucking shambles, getting a new manager, changing a few seats, sponsorless shirt aren't even scratching the surface of the fucking mess. I personally would probably sack a player or two, find a spurious reason and see it through.

Reece Brown is a League two player, anyone with a fucking ounce of sense knew he wasn't going to suddenly turn into a champ midfielder. Except of course the fuck wits doing our recruitment. Mooy leaving was the straw that broke the camel's back. This team doesn't function without him. Another obvious point lost on the losers in charge of recruitment. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards Mooy got a fantastic no minutes more experience today. Can't deny it's been a good move for him. We can't stand in his way. Great, isn't it? What a fuck up our club is. |

Just seen the goals on Quest....Grant seemed unable to guide it in to an empty net needing help from the defender. Despite us being crap, that's never a pen to Luton, the winner we are just stood around watching him pick his spot. The Kachunga pen appeal looks hopeful at best. Ashton is right, we look desperate at the minute.

Basically, Depoitre said he was shit last year because the club weren't ready for the premier League. He has to park some distance from the ground and the training facilities only had one toilet. |
