Grant Johnson has been appointed to the Management Committee at Brechin City whilst continuing in his career as a lawyer in Dundee. Shame I can’t see myself getting up to see a game at Glebe Park again. Would be good to have a chat with him.

Our Prem squad who moved on. Smith...might go down. Billing likely down. Mooy maybe. Lowe, Sabiri, Zanka down. Kongolo injured, Depoitre dropped off, Haderjonaj going nowhere as is Durm. Perennial losers are what we unearth.

Perennial losers are what we unearth. I will just isolate those that played a role in 2016/7, the best season in my lifetime: Löwe, Smith, Mooy. They were not losers that season. You do know the meaning of the word "perennial"?

You do know the meaning of the word "perennial"? I see little point in writing words that I do not know the meaning of. It's like Towns tactics...counter-productive. Lowe, Smith and Mooy. Have a look how many wins they have been involved in during their last 100 matches each. I would suspect it is around the 50 mark from 300 matches. Recurring losses count as "perennial". p.s Just looked at Loewe….less than 20 wins

They and others got us promoted against all the odds and expectations, and therefore are by definition not perennial losers.

That's a lovely nostalgic shirt mind. I can see a fair few Newcastle fans taking an active interest in Newcastle Blue Star next season, if this takeover doesn't go ahead. They've apparently sold hundreds of those shirts.

Where does that report say that Billing is available for transfer? Shit-stirring.

Where does that report say that Billing is available for transfer? Shit-stirring. It doesn't, my post insinuates that I'd like Billing to go to Leeds as he's on for the hat-trick. I don't call that Sh1t stirring, it's more like wishful thinking!

They've apparently sold hundreds of those shirts. Following it up with clever marketing. They say they had 600 turn up for a match last season, Covid permitting, I can see that number increasing massively for Clarky's boys next season.

Yorkshire Amateurs vs Scarborough Athletic today:
"2-1 win for Boro at the 'Ammers! Triallists in today’s squad Lloyd Allinson - Former Huddersfield, Chesterfield & Gainsborough keeper. Harry Sheppard - full-back, formerly of Sheffield United. Tom Devitt - Defender, was at Gateshead and Blyth.
Seems like triallist keeper Allinson kept us in the game with two late saves in 83 & 87 mins, having made some decent saves earlier in the game."
As I recall he was bloody awful for us in his one moment in the spotlight, replacing the red-carded Ward at home to Cardiff in the last game of the 2016/17 season. Total 'rabbit in the headlights' performance.

It was the Brentford game a year earlier when we lost 5-1 that he made his only Town appearance
