Joe Murphy signed a one year contract for Tranmere Rovers from Shrewsbury. 39 now.

I'll put this here as Phillips was supposed to have been at Town as a kid. How the fuck has that wankstain Southgate picked the inbred albino foul machine from Leeds for the England squad over Grealish. Fucking staggering ineptitude from the tosser.

ESR played second half of the Arsenal friendly at MK Dons. Hope he does well with them this season.

Last night Antony Kay played the full 90 minutes for Bala Town as they beat Valetta in Malta to progress to the next round of the Europa League, where they could be drawn against teams like Tottenham, AC Milan or Galatasaray.

Brighton announced that Mooy has gone to Shanghai SIPG and then deleted the post! Bit of a strange one, I thought he had a good season, was wanting to play more Premier League football, and they only paid a fee for him in January

They don't play in the same position. I know. I was more using Grealish as an example of someone who can't get a game yet he'll pick someone who hasn't ever played at the top level.

Conor Cody - any money in it for us? Canโt recollect the add-ons of his transfer.

Congrats Conor Coady, who was the last former Town player to make it to the England squad? Discounting loanees like Chilwell, was it Trevor Cherry? We made some decent purchases when we bought Coady, could do with some new ones of a similar ilk in the next few weeks.

Although he never played for our first team, David Stockdale was in our academy before being released and signed by York. He got an England call-up a few years ago somehow.

I love Kachunga (even named one of our cats after him) but it was the right time for him to move from us. Good luck to the lad though.

Sean Scannell swaps the sun and sea of Blackpool for the sun and sea of Grimsby. Sean hugging the coast?! Having said that, some pleasant villages in the Lincolnshire Wolds to live in, if he likes the quiet life. He must be hitting his thirties soon and he won't have many years as a professional left unless he develops greater physical robustness than he has shown for a lot of his career.

Look how that one's worked out... I guess for most players their careers are a marathon rather than a sprint. Looks like he made a wise decision moving to Wolves but there is a lot of chance involved. He seems to have matured well as a player but I would like to feel Town gave him his chance after Liverpool let him go and it sounds like it was good business for us money wise. At 27 he is probably in his prime now and I hope he gets a chance in the England setup.
