Likes 4-4-2 when he has the players that fit the system. If not he adapts the tactics to suit what he has. Well respected at this level he pught to be able to get the team behind him. Best of the bunch I think.

I think for a longer terms view the Cowleys could be a good option, but stll some degree of risk. Adkins would be about as safe a pair of hands as we could want right now and to me would tick most boxes. And he is English, is that matters. And northern. if that matters  'Nigel Adkins Barmy Army' works as well. Adkins is Welsh mate Ok. British. 😉 |

Birkenhead ain’t Scouse mate. They sound like em and that's enough to put me off. Nothing worse than being on a plane with the whiney loud wingers. They all sound same. From Widnes to Runcorn, tbh I don’t know the difference. I was always told by many folk though, Birkenheaders aren’t actual scousers. Even though it stated on certain sites(wiki) in the 19th century they were the true ones...... |

Whoever it is they need to get their bloody fingers out and appoint them. These two weeks in the build up to the Wednesday game the new manager should have been working with the players and assessing the squad but nothing has happened.

Whoever it is they need to get their bloody fingers out and appoint them. These two weeks in the build up to the Wednesday game the new manager should have been working with the players and assessing the squad but nothing has happened. Be even better if it were to happen we get Adkins and Wednesday get Cowleys. They slate us, take the piss and on Sky, in front of their millions of massive fans, we fucking hammer them. Nothing would please me more. |

The accent is more of a Cheshire thing than Lancashire. They are even a bit scousy in Stoke. |

Not excactly exciting, but oh well, at least we get someone in. Exciting enough for me. Good experience, knows the division, seen good and bad times in his career - worked at similar size clubs (bigger and smaller, so not hang ups there....) and will also come with some good contacts and ideas on new players to work with the new HOF. It's a big thumbs up with me. |
