One more comment from me. Griffin Park....you will be missed. One of the classic old-fashioned grounds, sadly not many of them left at this level anymore, and Town’s last ever appearance there bar an FA Cup draw, I guess. Famous, of course, for having a pub on each corner, but its merits are more than that. A proper community club, decent fans, a very good and extremely long-lasting announcer (Peter Gilham), some old-fashioned character. Brentford v Huddersfield Town is a matchup I’ve seen more than any other. Seen a good few Town wins, a few bad losses and very few draws. I’m registered with Brentford and I definitely will go again towards the end of the season. Hear, hear. Watching the net ripple was Cowshed old school. Extra word of praise for the stewards sat on those grow tall step style chairs behind the goal. When they spotted young (10ish and under) Town fans struggling to see, they fetched extra seats for the younguns to stand on. Above and beyond.

Obrien is already twice the player billing was. Absolutely class. Nice to see young harret on the bench as well, only warm ups but looked as good a finisher as solskjaer in his prime. Regards Harratt, if you haven't already, have a look at the October goals of the month on the clubs' YouTube channel. Scores on on there after cleverly turning his defender. Obviously a different level of football, but the composure he shows is excellent. Certainly looks like another bright hope. Link?

From the Bees Forum: Damn frustrating. We offered little today against a truly non-football good side of tough guys who had one shot in target. Our passing in the middle of the park was poor and sloppy, nobody took a grip in midfield, we lost the 50:50s and scarcely had a player near any loose balls. I have noticed that we leave big gaps in midfield recently. Our final passing was ineffective and the number of times we gave away the ball too cheaply was a thorn in the side. Yes we deserved a point but we never controlled or dominated convincingly. Huddersfield were hard to bear but they are a bunch of hoofers and timewasters who would be better playing rugby. The goal they scored naturally came from a mistake where we didn’t keep the ball. We tried to play our way but it was very disjointed. Kamo again wasn’t on his game and Noirgaard was loose too. We never got going. Frustrating after all the hard work. We need to keep the ball better, predict louse balls and dictate better. I love the fact we're starting boil piss again in this league

Wow. Performance fo the season. Made Brazil, sorry, Brentford, look distinctly average. O'Brien MoM. 3 points I didn't expect. We can beat anyone. Really. I watched a stream with Brentford biased commentary. They absolutely raved about O'Brien, best player on the pitch they said

FWIW, it has to be Matty Daly for the win...but Harratt's goal starts on 01:53 Mattys due to it being against the Hun but I'd go for either of Baccas, one for the importance of the goal and the other for making a difficult finish look easy

The space that tee up gives him is what makes it. All good in their own right though. And yeah, any goal against the bears gets bonus points from me 😂

As I said above, the bile (not the usual pantomime chants) that were being chanted at him, by some, would have made anyone a little piqued at the Town fans today. I have no love for any overblown footballer, especially ex Leeds, but there's banter and there's offensive. On every level.

I suspect that PJ did the right thing not to react to Izzy and proves nothing. We didn’t prove anything today neither

I’m happy with that. I don’t really appreciate being told to F off but I can’t disagree with this latest post. Don’t think there’s any need for the argument. Kachunga puts in a great shift away from home where we really need it. AD gives is a bit of flare when we need it ( even I cannot argue with his recent impact ) I think that's why some feel a need to defend Kachunga or at least make the point the Cowleys are seeing something, as it's fairly persistent and repetitive. Maybe he is adding something some of us aren't seeing. After all, it's hard to argue on one hand the Cowleys are really astute and then on the other suggest it's inexplicable that Kachunga is starting over Diakhaby. I personally suspect they are a little concerned about starting Bacuna and Diakhaby together atm, especially against some teams.

Did something happen with Stankovic after the game? Heard something on radio about Cowley having to talk to him, but missed why. Thanks.
