this one's gonna be my first away game for a few seasons, first time at griffin park as well. Brentford supporting mate says they're very top heavy and inconsistent, have missed Sawyers more than Maupay this season. we'll win if our defenders have a good enough game I reckon, Grant is nailed on to score again Last time at Griffin Park as well. One of my favourite grounds, slightly annoyed I can't make this one. I wanted to have a pint on each corner before it shut.

If anyone is unable to make the game and has a spare couple of tickets they'd want to get their money back, I'm keen to take my youngster along please PM me. Cheers.... UTT

I presume this is ollie Watkins who was starting at Exeter for a couple of years before moving to brentford. I guess we looked at him ?

I’ve just referred to your repeated references to him when he was at Exeter on the thread ‘ten points off the play-offs’. Scored more than Grant despite missing a pen and being removed from pen taking duties. They are a very good side and I tip them to finish top 6. They started slowly with narrow defeats against good opposition but only PNE have beaten them by more than 1 goal and they are scoring for fun at the moment. Rarely concede many and next 5 games are all against bottom 8 clubs. We’re in for a caning unless we improve massively on performance levels from last 3 games. Possible straw to clutch at: we have scored in each of our last 7 away games since Anfield.

Target that Henry at full back he is shit. Got booked for persistent fouling and can't head a ball to save his life.

I'd take a point on Saturday. Absolutely, and the week after, dosnt sound ambitious but that would be great return from these two, but in football...expect the unexpected.

QPR 1 Brentford 3 - this emphasises that this will be a tough one on Saturday.

The last time I went we won 4-0 with a Rhodes hat trick. The Bees deserved the win last night as they created more openings, but it looked like a dive for the pen to me all the same. It won't be easy, of course, but if we can keep it tight at the back (no more feck-ups) we can win this one. Brentford look disjointed to me. Some talented players, but lacking Cowley-esque coherency.

Brentford were great on the break but gave a very ordinary QPR side a number of chances without much involvement from a Rangers player. They are slow down the middle at the back and they do shove up. Day for Diakhaby to just stay on the halfway line and us to go longer from defence to turn them time after time. Good day for Elphick to play as we will have to be a bit deeper in defence given the pace that Brentford can attack with. Force em to cross the ball from deeper.

Unbeaten in 6 but apart from second half against Hull we've not looked convincing.
I predict that our slow and calamity prone defence will be found out in this one.
Brentford win.

Whilst this run is clearly a lot tougher on paper I personally feel we're more suited to play on the counter against teams who will dominate possession, we look far worse when we have all the ball and have to break a team down. Well said. At this stage the Cowleys are working with what they’ve got- several days players who can break quickly and a few decent finishers...Havung watched Brentford/QPR in patches last night I think there’s definitely goals for us on Saturday. 2-1 Town.

Granted, but not playing well and still getting results can also be seen as a positive. I'm hoping we can get Pritchard and Kongolo back in the fold at some stage which will improve us. However, i'm with you for this game, I think Brentford will be too slick for us.
