Middlesbrough not messing about. They are doing what we should be doing. We always piss about haggling over a few quid Who’s to say we’re pissing about over a few quid? We’re certainly not chucking cash around, but I haven’t seen or heard anything to suggest that we’re being unreasonable. The Brown move may trigger an option to bring someone in. I should also imagine that we’re waiting on getting rid of Kongolo, Mbenza et al before we sign others. Say we can't get rid of any of the players. What happens then? Do we just refuse to play them, and also say we don't have the budget to bring anyone else in so we're left with the same threadbare squad? I understand we don't want to go out and spend millions before offloading some. But surely we can do some business before that happens?

There should be a rule protecting the club's against rogue players attitudes, the players should be judged by a neutral panel if chosen to play and performances scrutinised,if found guilty contracts should be ripped up or wages not payed at least,no other industry would put up with such shite.

We always piss about haggling over a few quid I reckon you'd be one of the first to have a hissy fit if we'd signed the lad from Man city. He scored 3 goals in 41 appearances playing mainly as a striker for Preston last season, one against relegated Rotherham & the other two against relegated Ipswich.

We got our moneys worth out of Chris Lowe. Grant was an investment we will get a very good return on. Who says Grant wants to leave, or are you just making that up? We are too nice. I know it hasn’t worked out but Heff was worth a million pounds easy when we sold him for half that. Just to let him get a nice contract. No one is doing us any favours. Grant wants to play in the Premier League, just like every other player. He’s just more open about it. He'd better start working on his first touch and hold up play quickly then

On what grounds? They are fit and available for selection, but the management team don't want to select them. Cowley's have cut of their nose, now they just need to make sure they can get rid of the old one and get a nice new Beverley hills one. Upto the deadline the Cowleys set of 1st of December seemingly, when they had new player meetings, they were mostly part of the match-day squad, after those meetings they were in the u23s. Presumably they weren't committed to the cause and were instructing their agents to find them a move. Life moves on, but calling them rogues is a bit harsh. People in every workplace turn up to work, do a job, but are looking for another one.

Easy to see teams doing business. Patrick Roberts has also done feck all for 3 seasons. Maybe this is the move but it’s certainly no guarantee Certain fans slated us for not getting Dowell. Also done not a lot at Derby. As much as I’d like to see us have players signed on Jan 1st, lets judge at end of window.

I understand we don't want to go out and spend millions before offloading some. But surely we can do some business before that happens? That’s the balancing act I s’ppose. Despite how thin our squad is at present, DC and PH have all been on record saying that players need to leave to afford us the option to bring players in and that our squad is currently too big. I’m sure there’s some contingency in place for how the window pans out, we’ll just have to wait and see. Granted it’s not an ideal situation.

Just as an aside, Sheffield United have just signed Jack Rodwell. Presumably he'll be car sharing with Ravel Morrison

When Kongolo was picked to play against Bristol City(?), he turned in the sort of display that suggested he would much rather be sat in the stands. He hasn’t featured in any size, shape or form since.

Kongolo is a prime example of a player that loves been a footballer, more than playing football. If your in a battle, you wouldnt want to rely on him at your side.

I think Kongolo has thrown himself under a bus with his half arsed performances over the last 12 months. It's plainly obvious he has no desire to play for the club anymore by watching him play & Cowley won't stand for it.

Josh Sims from Southampton now linked. Winger, played at Reading and most recently New York Red Bulls. 1 career goal in 44 career appearances also. Sorry to keep editing and adding to this post but Southampton fans rate him highly and were delighted with his return from the states but doesn't look like he's been much fancied.

On the face of it, it was a decent signing at the price we paid. Clearly it didn't work out as either party hoped. Good luck to the lad and hopefully he can settle and flourish and make the most of his skills.

Zanka Billing Mbenza Diakhaby Sobhi Sabiri Kongolo Brown
I may have missed others.
All have been told they’re not gonna play for us again in the past 12 months. The result is we’re seemingly skint, in a relegation dogfight with a squad full of academy lads.
Never before has a club been so mismanaged to bring such a downfall from the euphoric high of 18 months ago.
Bravo to everybody concerned.

Josh Sims from Southampton now linked. Was a huge prospect 2 years ago, goals to games not really worth looking at due to actual minutes played. Would be happy with this, upgrade to some we have. Risk free too

Frustrating this one - thought he looked very tidy in pre-season with a lot of creativity. When you consider the fact that we've struggled to string a team of first teamers together and have CM passengers like Chalobah, you'd have felt he'd have had a few opportunities to prove himself. Hard work beats talent, if talent doesn't work hard.

I have just been told we are very interested in Lincoln left back Harry toffolo. He's out of contact in the summer but town are keen to do a deal for him now if the price is right.

What’s with this telling players they aren’t playing again, more importantly telling the whole world? This tactic must have cost us 20 million at a guess. After years of spending every pound i had to spare supporting this club it breaks my heart.

When you look at how much hard work is involved for the club to generate say ONE Million pounds through either Club shop / Commercial income or even Season Card sales, it must be soul destroying for those involved to see such enormous sums literally dropping off the clubs balance sheet, almost certainly never to return.
