I was also under the impression that he had written off quite a bit of brass, The conundrum being that if he did call it in we could go under as we couldn't possibly pay him and carry on.
I was once told he had an agreement & over the years has gained more money from Town than he ever leant us. & supposedly still is gaining. Whether it is true or not I presume only a few people know the truth. |

Hope I’m wrong but I see this window being used to ship out bad eggs and maybe get a loan or two in. Being shrewd the plan for the cowleys was to keep us up and strengthen in the summer. Our previous transfer activity suggests this. I can’t see why we would pay over inflated prices in this window. It’s just not us. Hope I’m wrong but so depressing looking at being a prem club to now struggling to afford a posh player who is meh at best in a matter of months

Hope I’m wrong but I see this window being used to ship out bad eggs and maybe get a loan or two in. Being shrewd the plan for the cowleys was to keep us up and strengthen in the summer. If Kongolo is going to Feynoord then it would only be on loan. Their record signing is £6 million and despite how poor he has been, I can't see us wanting to sell him for less than 10

I think the truth lies in the Dale comments which suggests he was maybe ‘recalled’ as opposed to having his loan terminated and sent back, maybe to save him some embarrassment. I know we have recalled quite a few over the past two months or so, but I think they were very different circumstances. So I can’t see us recalling him other than if a permanent move is in the offing otherwise - I don’t see the benefit in that. |

Yes he wouldn’t have had the final call but he hasn’t just suddenly turned up last week as the new guy he’s been involved 12 months

Barnsley on the up and up. We need to get a few more in before the weekend or I feel like with the current players it will be an uphill struggle. We will miss Hogg dramatically and guarantee Chalobah won't do a jot.
I trust the Cowley's. Think they will have an idea what they need to:
A. Keep us up
B. Build on for next season
What I do not trust is our recruitment or senior board team. We haven't pulled up any trees for some time now and try signs so far, albeit early are not great.
Players should have been targeted in and out and ready to move as quickly as poss. Lots of other clubs done early business including our competitors so this indicates issues.
I hope I'm proved wrong... but the quality of incomings will be crucial now for the remaining 5 months.

Has anyone got any idea on the truth if Town are trying to get Admiral Muskwe on loan from Leicester?
He is a young striker with Zimbabween heritage. He had several England age group caps before becoming a full international with Zimbabwe.
