Taunton away would be a nice day out for me. I could do Weston S Mare but a bit of a drive. Exeter closest but we will have them in league at end of season anyway. Torquay already knocked out. Same thoughts here. Bus Bude to Okey. Train Okehampton>Exeter St Davids>Taunton. Last train Exeter to Okehampton is about 21:15, but the last bus is about half six. So bribe daughter to pick me up! Take it Okehampton is an Okay Town then then Stewpot ! đș đ„ đ Is there a hamlet called Muskogee nearby by any chance...

Monday 7pm on BBC 2 Westie. Was it the FAC draw that was on the radio (two?) on a Monday lunch time around 12-45pm. Top 40 (top 30?) charts was on Tuesday at same time (radio one)?.......Or was it the other way round?  Yes, FA cup draw was always Monday lunchtime. Remember sitting in Graves cafe in Sheffield Uni union building listening to it.

Just heard that Bradford are expecting a crowd in the region of 50,000 tomorrow evening. A record for a cup draw.

There is one win in The FA Cup today without even PLAYING !
Huddersfield Town Women have qualified for the next round of The Womenâs FA Cup after Barnsley Women didnât turn up !
Maybe they didnât fancy another âTwoingâ from Huddersfield Town đ
Quite a bit of rest for Town Women now as they donât play until Sunday 27th October at home to York City Women -
The week after (3-Nov) itâs the ârewardâ for todayâs no show by The Tykes with The Womenâs FA Cup First Round Proper...
Hopefully a Home Draw for The HTAFC Women (And the guys) as thatâd make a footy festival for me for sure !
Finally - Perhaps Barnsley Women should consider changing their name from The Tyke-esses to The Turnips as they might have a chance of progression then ! đ

Braintree sounds good, I don't think we've ever played them (is their club a tree with brains hanging from the branches?).

Huddersfield Town Women have qualified for the next round of The Womenâs FA Cup after Barnsley Women didnât turn up ! đ Not quite as dramatic as that sounds. Barnsley e-mailed HTAFC at 11.01 to say they were "unable to field an adequate squad". They will be in bother with the FA and probably end up with a large (comparatively) fine.

Hoping for Scarborough away personally, or York would be a good day out too We wouldn't get many tickets at all for that. I do like the 'Seadogs on Tour' you tube channel though. York would be good, but again, would we get many tickets, what's the capacity 5000? It's a way out of the city now too, not like Bootham Crescent was.

I'm hoping for Weston super mare away, as I'm 2 mins from the ground Itâd be a great draw leroy212 but the ultimate NIGHTMARE if we lost to them... For me personally itâd be - A Westie Super Mare ! đŹ Tbf I watched Weston win 8-0 on Tuesday. Played some tidy football

York would be good, but again, would we get many tickets, what's the capacity 5000? It's a way out of the city now too, not like Bootham Crescent was. Think the new stadium holds over 8000 but itâs in a shocking area ( business park) where the parking is extremely limited unless your shopping for an hour and no pubs and well out of the city centre ( not walking distance) . I think they give around 800 for away fans, but chesterfield were given 2200 but thatâs probably because York were doing rubbish and chesterfield needed to win to win the league last year. We would probably be given very few tickets as they are flying this year. I would like to visit the ground but think it would be a bit of a damp squib unlike the old ground which had a great location decent away end and stacks of pubs. As for Scarboro the ground is very small now not exactly sure but i think it holds around 3000 max and the away end is very small for a league club visit, they donât do bad for crowds in their division and would easily sell out if we visited so a very limited away allocation would be given. Iâve been and itâs a tidy little ground but the pitch is horrendous, plastic and patched up to high heaven, probably with our injury record one to avoid.

An easy looking home draw or any ground i haven't been to is ok by me. Iâm hoping itâs the latter for you Sab as in an easy enough draw to progress (Itâs Town in the cup - I know, I know) as the law of averages might give HTAFC a home tie on Saturday 30th November that I could attend before The League 1 game v Wigan on Tuesday 3rd December ! Would Carlisle away tickle your fancy Westie?

The first fa cup match I attended and can remember like yesterday was Northwich Victoria v Town in 1980 I remember a large group of Town fans singing songs as we were walking to the ground and it was a great atmosphere We drew the game 1-1 and the highlight for me was meeting Steve Kindon in the services on the way home and he autographed my program which was great for an 11 year old and I still cherish the memory Sadly I no longer have the program as its got lost somehow after moves and stuff over the years Town won the replay at Leeds Road 6-0 First F A Cup match i went to was Town v Chelsea 3rd round at home in front of 36,000, Town lost 2-1 66/67 season.

Until we started doing the same thing. At home to Bristol City under Warnock, crowd announced was 17k. There were probably half that number in the ground.

Would Carlisle away tickle your fancy Westie? Aye thatâd be a pure fab draw for me keefer... 1) - If it was to be Sat 30th November in The Second Round Proper - (As up in Inverness for Clachnacuddin v Forres Mechanics on Sat 2nd November when First Round Proper takes place) - 2) - If I could source a ticket of course - Leave the family home at Connel early on the Saturday, bus hopefully from Glasgow to Carlisle, pre match pub crawl, after match pub crawl, see an âold typeâ stadium again (Beautiful) a wee nite in Carlisle (Been there a few times but not for overnight stay) some new places to see in Cumbria on the Sunday, make down for Huddersfield Sunday night / Monday morning, a day out in new places in Yorkshire, back to Huddersfield for restaurant / pubs, Tuesday - HTAFC club shop, Pub Crawl of England and Yorkshireâs finest town, The walk to The John Smithâs Stadium for Huddy Town v Wigan Athletic, finish the long weekend, Train Wednesday to Manchester, mini pub visit, bus to Glasgow M6 all motorway đ đ Night in Glasgow, piss up with ma buddy Screachy Bear, give her, her birthday pressey, Thursday - Back to The Whisky đ„ Isle ! (zzzzzzzzz - sleep for a week) ! đŽ

We have drawn against the current league two leaders five times in the last 50 years (3 in last 15). DM would just love to put one over on us wouldn't he?.....No denying he was shit.

He's doing ok at Port Vale though, after a shaky start last season which saw them relegated.. Begs the question how come he did it at Wednesday and doing it at Port Vale but failed at Town like so many other managers have.. sorry a bit off topic that..unless we draw them in the cup..

Ideally would like an interesting non-league awayday like Weston, Taunton, Harborough or Tamworth (very good for pubs).
We'll probably end up with Barnsley at home (again).

It will feel a bit of a novelty to be back in the first round draw again, but itâs not really that long ago since we were in it.
One for the stattos as to how we did in the Cup that season?

Number 26 Huddersfield Town will play Number 75 Tonbridge Angels. From my past experience of people living Sarf of London, they still think we all wear hob nailed boots and flat caps and say Eh Up and Tha Nos all the time.

One for the stattos as to how we did in the Cup that season? 2011-12 we lasted all of 90 minutes after a 4-1 thrashing away at Swindon. The year before that was the trip to Arsenal when we got robbed of a replay with the penalty that never was.
