Some silly bint on one of the Facebook groups saying if they've heard it on TV we'll get reported like the James Maclean 'incident' ! The thing is, that day isn't too far away. Once enough people kick up a fuss about the use of this kind of language, it will be criminalised. I fully agree. 10 years ago, you'd have been laughed at if you'd have suggested the authorities would act on the McClean chant.

I like him! Gets stick and gives it back. Nowt wrong with that. As a player he was good for Town, but last night he seemed to lack the energy he had at Town.

I seem to remember Mellor had a stormer that day,we were well on top,he was so wound up he saved everything thrown at him.Chant was funny, shame it didn,t work. 0-0 draw I don't remember him making any spectacular saves though. Diving about like a wild man in a cage,as I remember it 0-0 suggests he saved everything thrown at him.some say crap game,I must be easily pleased!

Rather have an ex player enjoying beating his old club than that faux apology shite that most do even when theyve just scored the winner. Remember Boothy really over celebrating a goal against us at Hillsborough once.
Like the fact he gave those abusing him on twatter some grief back and its funny that they bleat about it. He was wrong to kick off about his move to the prem being stopped but in his defence he was a young kid who saw the bright lights and wealth of the big time being dangled in front of him, so its understandable. Probably had an agent in his ear as well pushing him to do it.
But he was a really good player for us, one of the few of that standard weve produced ourselves and a key part of a promotion side. And id take him in our starting line up now ahead of Simpson all day long.

He did well 4 town and it’s probably a shame he s not remembered better with our fans. Still it’s only a bit of crowd banter. ( tell you what I thought was strange Morrison’s reaction to the south stand when Patterson scored 4 Cardiff as he had received absolutely no stick from town very odd. It was as if he was annoyed we’d forgotten about him. )

Can't see the hatred towards hunt personally, he left to enhance his career, just like Rhodes did and plenty of others.

Plenty other players have done this, look how wendies booed Rhodes.

I always felt a little sorry for Jack Hunt. Got the big move to Palace then broke his ankle in training and never played for them or in the Premiership. Loaned out then permanently moved to the Championship. He’s still played more games for us than anyone else with a better goals and assists than with any other team. Shame he is thought so badly of by Town fans especially after all these years.

He's an ex player I'd have taken back, he's a lot more comfortable than Turton attacking, which is what we want our FB's to do

The amount of times he was running with the ball into the box from the sideline was fantastic, all from a full back.

There’s a clear dislike which I'm all fine with. This game was likely the last time he plays against us anyway.

Good for you That’s how you like to support the team and help get them over the line - I just don’t think it was that great personality Did I say it was great? No. Was I in there singing it? No. Did it make me smile? Yes. Was it an attempt to get an atmosphere started? Yes. Do I appreciate what the CL and the SS try to do? Yes. Do I give a shit about what you think you know about me? Guess the answer to that one. Could it be YES ? I really like the atmosphere generated it’s just the bad language I object to given that there are women, and children as young as 5 and 6 at the game.

Still laughing at the bloke shouting fuck off Bannan everytime he had the ball 🤣 Why is it funny he is a good player and I can think of a certain two players currently not included in team selection who would not have tracked back and made the tackle he did. I think we should sign him he would be the missing midfield key ( in my opinion)
