www.worldfootball.net/table_calculator/eng-championship/No Matter how I play this out I have us going down . Tonight's game Birmingham Vs Charlton is massive, we really need a Birmingham win. Luton Hull draw would be ideal Saturday but that's hugely unlikely so it would then be up to Blackburn (with nothing to play for) to beat Luton last game. Wigan will win of their last games to take them above us so I reckon going to be Barnsley Hull, and one of us Luton/Charlton.

I think Charlton will beat Birmingham. I have us, Hull and Barnsley going down. I think Luton will beat Hull and potentially beat or draw against Blackburn. I think we will lose our next two.

Being 3 points above bottom 3, with a better goal difference, 1 defeat in 5 (only 1 win I agree) 4 out of 5 clean sheets (3 away) I honestly believe we will escape by 1/2 points. We probably need the odd result to go our way.

Exactly how I see it playing out. Luton will get 4 points minimum cos Hull are beyond shite and have given up, and Blackburn have nowt to play for. Hull are gone for me, as are Barnsley. I actually think our survival hinges on Charlton's game tonight as I dont think they'll get owt from their last two games...as wont we. If they beat Birmingham I'll be 99% certain we're gone.

Which game do you think Birmingham will win?? 1 point and we finish above them, & I don’t see them getting another point. If Hull have it in them there will be reaction and can see them getting a point at home Saturday. Luton need 4 points to pass us, it’s tight but the baggies will be under massive pressure if Brentford win tonight. So much more exciting than being on 54 point playing out nothing!!!

If Birmingham win tonight that's Charlton gone in my eyes as Wigan and Leeds after that leaves them with an awful run in.

I think we needed a win last night. I too think Luton will get 4 points minimum from their last two. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Leeds slip up against Barnsley. Tonight’s game will be interesting but to be fair I think Birmingham will feel they need a point for safety given their slightly inferior goal difference to ours. As for town it’s going to be tough to get any more points unless they can up their game (I’m sure we’re better than we’ve shown in the last two). Let’s hope Millwall are out of the play off race by the time we go there and we might scrape a point.

So, Barnsley either have to win two of three against the Top 5 or remain unbeaten to collect 5 pts. Both highly unlikely. If we get a point Vs WBA then we want a Hull Vs Luton draw then we are safe. If we lose, then surely we want Hull to beat Luton. Would mean Hull having to get something away at Cardiff last match.

Genuinely think there is absolutely no chance of us getting a point against West Brom, may scrape one against millwall but that's unlikely, we haven't scored in 4. Hull to beat Luton would be ideal but its just not going to happen is it.

I have us scraping safety at 49points on goal difference. Going to be very very close.

I've got a loss against both WBA and Millwall. I also believe Luton will beat Hull and draw against Blackburn. Charlton will win tonight against Birmingham, draw against Wigan then lose against Leeds. It all means this, for me:
24th - Barnsley - 43 points 23rd - Hull - 45 points 22nd - Town - 48 points ____________________________ 21st - Luton - 49 points 20th - Birmingham - 49 points 19th - Stoke - 49 points 18th - Charlton - 51 points
If Brentford win tonight then WBA will be all guns blazing against us on Friday. We really need a point on the final day.

We're playing Millwall not Barcelona
If we can't pick up a point there to save ourselves then we deserve to go down

I've come up with if Charlton win tonight we'd need a win. If Charlton don't win tonight I think we'll just scrape over the line.

Can’t see Charlton finishing above us. They’ve scored 3 goals in the last 9 games! Tonight’s game has draw written all over it.

Even we beat Birmingham... scoring 3 goals in the process, may I add! Also, if Charlton were to draw tonight and also draw against Wigan on Saturday, and we lose our next two as I expect, we'd end up going down on GD. Mind you, we'd actually stay up in that scenario as Wigan would only be above us by 11 points, so once the 12 point deduction is applied then we're fine. UTT!!

Cowley always said 50 points and looks like he's right whether we get there or not is questionable. It really is all on Charlton tonight for me, if Birmingham win i'd hope we can survive. If Charlton win its over.

Plan A seems to have been about inching towards safety by not conceding goals and getting the one point from draws. This could still work although it's high risk and depends very much on what our rival teams do.
Plan B comes into play if Plan A is not working out and obviously involves a more attacking line up and tactics.
Suspect todays Charlton result will be a deciding factor in which Town team and turns up on Friday.
What we have to hope is that what we have recently witnessed has been by design and that there is the Plan B Town team waiting to be unleashed in the coming days.

I think we’re just gonna scrape it, but what we don’t want is a suprise Barnsley win! A point will do us now I believe.

If Cardiff get to the last day with it in their hands then it’s highly unlikely Millwall can do anything about it. But you could drive yourself daft with the permutations.

I've got it as us going down by one point over a lot of teams (I have us losing each game so a draw keeps us up on goal difference):
24 Barnsley - 43 23 Hull - 45 22 Huddersfield - 48 21 Luton - 49 20 Birmingham - 49 19 Charlton - 49 18 Stoke - 49 17 Wigan - 49

A point is looking like it would be useless for both West Brom and Millwall.
Charlton only go above us tonight with a win. If that happens i see no way of us staying up if we lose both our games.

Trying to figure out what the best result from the Hull v Luton game is (assuming we have lost to WBA by this point)
A win for either side means the other one cannot catch us. The winner would then need to better our result in the last match to overtake us. Cardiff vs Hull / Luton vs Blackburn A draw means they can both catch us but they'd both need to win their final game.
