Surely they have to prioritise season card holders.

With reduced capacity you have to think that with reduced capacity that seat and season ticket values will become more valuable, meaning higher prices?

After this season, presume we may hit 12000 season tickets.
Capacity just shy of 25000
Every season ticket holder could attend and be sat a seat apart from person next to them.
Make it sound so easy 🤣🤣

Surely they have to prioritise season card holders. Absolutely. Especially as they'll probably be the only ones who will still care enough to go when full crowds are allowed back. It's ok this for teams who don't get close to filling their stadium, but what about clubs who have season ticket waiting lists? How do you determine which ones qualify in the top third when you could have folk who haven't skipped a game in 20 years missing out? Some will say it's a good thing that at least some fans will be able to get back in, but my own view is that it's all or nothing; either everyone has a chance to get in, or nobody does. There will be some die hards at many clubs being overlooked and that's just not right.

The other factor of course is how many supporters will actually want to attend matches. I suspect demand for seats will be severely affected by the fear of Covid.

Might be a blessing in disguise that fans will be restricted next season, because if they weren't I think our crowds would be embarrassingly low without the excuse. Would highlight just how far we've fallen in the space of two years.
Hopefully this current mess is sorted to some extent by the time fans are allowed back.

The other factor of course is how many supporters will actually want to attend matches. I suspect demand for seats will be severely affected by the fear of Covid. I've currently got a season ticket for next season, however as I've got COPD I'm not planning on going in the stadium until either I've had a vaccine or the infection risk is miniscule. Neither of which is likely this year. At the moment, I'd take an ifollow option if available for home games. But if they don't provide this as an option, then I'd be looking at a refund on the ticket. If I have to give up a season ticket I've had since 1984 (1981 if you could half season tickets), who's to say I'll definitely get one in the future? As PH has been saying in the media, sorting this season was the easy one. Getting next season right is going to be much, much harder all round.

Fear of Covid indeed. also
will they prioitise SC holders who renewed in March Wiil they now only alow 12000 SC's to be sold or 24000 SC's on a lottery basis. If so if selected by lottery and a SC holder can't attend will he/she be able to cancel. And what abour refunds for none attendance.
Will there be temperature checks at the ground and what if someone near you is constantly coughing can you move seats.
will there be sanitiser points
If singing is banned in church is shouting banned at football stadia

Sadly for the first time in years I didn't renew mine. I find the travelling too tiring for all the games at my age especially after a heart attack a couple of years ago. I suddenly realised that I could still get to 12.5 games at £20 a senior ticket, for what it was costing me for a season card. What with night games which I miss and so on, I've not hit 12 this season, and would be unlikely to next, so would have actually saved money. Looks like that may not be going to happen then. My own fault I know, but since dad died last September, staying over is no longer necessarily a cheap option, and I don't enjoy the 180 mile round trip, either by train or car. Oh well, there's always Stockton Town.

I reckon we'll be at 40% capacity next season without away fans (which is about 10,000 home fans)
Given many season ticket holders will be families living in the same house (e.g. parents and kids) there we be clusters able to sit together without distancing so they may be able to get creative in terms of capacity in certain areas
I reckon we should be able to get everyone in who wants to go - remember many fans shielding won't want to go
Worse case people would be missing say 1 in three games if it's on a rotation and no vaccine is found before the end of next season

I haven't renewed and if I get balloted out due to my "tardiness" so be it. I don't see any fair way of allocating the capacity available really so what will be, will be.

I haven't renewed and if I get balloted out due to my "tardiness" so be it. I don't see any fair way of allocating the capacity available really so what will be, will be. The ST renewal deadline hasn't passed yet so anyone who wants a ST can still get one. After that I guess it will be down to a ballot style system again. Everyone who renews gets an Ifollow pass, then for each match a set number of the ST ticket holders get a ticket. For the next match a different set of ST holders get one etc etc. So if 15000 renew and only 5000 are allowed in, you will see 1 in every 3 matches. Obviously you will have to try and make sure family members get the same match. Then the club will have to decide who sits in which stand as your ST won't get you a specific seat. All gets very messy. I have renewed yet, waiting to see what the situation is for next season. Not massively fussed at this stage of seeing matches in the stadium but like others have said, don't want to lose our seats.

Already paid for mine pre lockdown. Not sure the club can legally take that purchase away or ask for more money but who knows what's in the small print.

As long as you renew before the season starts everyone should have the same chance of going in the stadium, just because some one renewed before someone else shouldnt matter, the deadline hasn't past

Your watching the games wrongly that's all. If you go out to the shed, close the door, close your eyes, put your headphones on and listen to whale sounds the games are a much better watch..👍

I'd rather not go than watch the shit they've been producing in a quarter full ground with no away fans or atmosphere. Added to the fact people may be shielding or worried about covid still, I dont think anyone who wants to go will have to much of a problem.

So far, I've kept paying my daughter's gymnastics fees, my son's and daughter's football subscriptions, my other son's and daughter's swimming club fees and season tickets x 3. Something has to give unless the new norm is actually paying for things you don't actually get.
