Bet the clubs are ecstatic.
25% of the capacity with probably more staff on hand to control the smaller crowds. Then there's the arse ache of figuring out who get's lucky.

Yes agree - how do they sort this out? From a selfish point of view, having renewed my season cards in March, I’d hope for some kind of priority but I can see why obviously, lots will have been waiting to see how things with the virus pans out before doing anything about it.

It'll be pretty shit In a stadium with 25% of the supporters. 6250.... Will be like a carbon cup game vs Birmingham every week... probably prefer to watch it at home to be fair. 6.25k would be about how many would turn up if we are in League one anyway.. 🤦🏼♂️

I wont be renewing for next season following that announcement. Absolutely nothing enjoyable about sitting in a 1/4 full stadium with everyone spread out

Those who have renewed should have priority, I don't think anyone who has held back from renewing can complain.
I tip my hat to those that have, Good on em.

Renewed mine in February so that puts me at a higher priority than you 👍🤣

Going to kill football below the elite. So many wont bother returning by the time we're back to normal.

Can see the fact that they will trial some events but the major factor that we cant estimate now is how the figures are and have been for some time when the season is about to start again?? The talk about social distancing does not mention any particular percentage of spectators or how many extra staff etc.. By October there may have been a huge change in the infection figures, we might all have flu instead??? This planning ahead is mainly for morale given that the infections may be zero in 2 weeks or huge on the 1st October? Guess we have to make plans and the reaction they get to them depends on wether you have a positive or negative attitude.. It's all supposition though.. Hurry up and wait??

If fans are not back this september then the game from top to bottom will fail. If anyone thinks the top will be allowed to fail they are mad.. Fans will be back, might be masks in the concessions areas but the government will then be simply advising rather than ordering.. Anyone who feels unsafe gets a refund or can decline to attend the rest of us get on.. I hope you are right. Time to just get on with it. quarter full stadiums will kill league one and two and even some championship clubs.

Current guidelines>> iSupporters, parents, and other spectators remain socially distanced whilst attending events. Spectator groups must be restricted to discrete six person gathering limits and spread out, in line with wider government guidance. Crowding or congregation must be strictly avoided. In reality for a football stadium this probably looks like alternate rows being empty (instantly halfing capacity), and probably an average of between 1 and 4 seats in every six being occupied. With those guidelines, it’ll be almost impossible to fill beyond a third, and will likely be closer to a quarter of stadium capacity. Of course, guidelines could/should be loosened further by October.
