We’re on our way We’re on our way To the Champions League We’re on our way
Repeat numerous times
Ringing out from 3000 ecstatic Town fans as we topped the table when the 3rd goal went in at Selhurst Park will live with me forever. For that alone you’ll always be one of my favourites. Cheers big Steve.

Otium must have been some player in his prime To be fair he does well to keep going with that parody account. Must be well over ten years now and no sign of it fading...

Sorry for bringing up this old turkey but Mounie was involved an incident that made me as mad as I have ever been at a football match. Step forward rat face Michael fucking Oliver. I seem to remember seeing Wagner visibly deflated after the game. Didn’t it come sometime after the soft sending off of a Town player at Cardiff?

No It came after our mint revival.. 7 points from 3 games.. Then a run of 8 games in December.. 1-0 up at home to Brighton.. Then that c*** sends mounie off for foook all.. Lost 2-1.. Lost next 7 games.. 🥴

Can’t be the only one that, as mental as it sounds, fully believes if he hadn’t been sent off we’d of still been a premier league club last season. The team was starting to click and everything just came tumbling down in the few weeks that followed that. The Pritchard penalty decision as well still really rules me We’d still have had to carry on without Mooy, so for me, no. I do think we’d have got Some points from Brighton, Arsenal and Bournemouth though, Who knows, things wouldn't have been the same after, so what's to say Mooy would've got injured. Anyway, it's happened 😭

Also apparently a pair of bullies ? and certainly not liked by a lot of the backroom staff.? Ok I only have heard these rumours but can honestly say that i didnt take to them . There’s no evidence whatsoever of this: neither here nor at any of their previous clubs. The idea they would act as billy-big-bollocks here, which they acknowledged was by far the biggest club they had managed, but not at Lincoln, Concord etc. is utterly ridiculous. Accusing them of bullying with zero evidence comes across as straw-clutching at best, delusional arse-holery at worst. Whether it was the right decision to get rid of them will be played out in the results this season imo... Ignoring the rumour that Cowley jnr headbutted someone at training ?

Glad he looks like he’s having fun An ideal Steve Mounie goal. marked by a short guy and didnt have to move to get on the cross. I hate this 'needs the service' argument. Put the ball right on his head in front of goal and yay,, he might score! Is that different for any forward? Like for £12m you shouldnt expect more than just that.

Like for £12m you shouldnt expect more than just that. It’s the sort of limited ability you’d expect from a league 1 target man or a Matt Smith. Rather than a £12m marquee signing in the premier league.

I was over in Huddersfield over Christmas and went to the Blackburn game with a friend. We all know the goal. As Steve neared the box both of us were shouting "Hit it, hit it!" Bloody hell he did. Celebrating the goal we looked at each other with expressions. Maybe he is a better footballer than we saw.

I wish him well but every appearance cost us £100,000 and every goal half a million. Add in his wages and its nearly double that. Madness. Ridiculous waste of time and money on a player who wont get another 30 top class goals in his career. Knock-kneed...cant run...little control. I could have found just as good in the Northern Counties. Brest will be relegated carrying on the great tradition of ex-Town players latterly. Mystic Oti strikes again! One week and well on the way to being proved wrong once more...

Much as I love seeing Oti feasting on his own words, Mounie got off to a bit of a flyer with us but soon went off the boil so maybe we'd better wait before poking fun at the Phil Billing Fan Club. I do wish Mounie well though and think he will make Brest a handful

Don’t make me dig it out again mate. I conceded that...i did not say i thought he was a world beater. Anyone with 2 debut goals on a return to the top league would enthuse and catch the eye. A few matches in it was clear he was not good enough.
