Sorry - I have to agree with those who think this is now over complicated and a bit confusing. Before I get hammered by the usual mob can I just say that I'm not too good on these things - the previous system did seem a bit less fiddly and more straightforward.

Behemoth of a thread locked and replaced with a bigger behemoth of a sub-board (shrug emoji). If you’re ‘tidying up’ much better to unpin some of the threads in the main board that haven’t been touched for a year. Completely agree with that. Far too many pinned threads. |

Is this the new transfer thread ? Genuine question because I do have a transfer rumour I'm not sure - I THINK so. Do you post here that "Town are about to buy Jordan Rhodes" and then we look at a separate thread for "Jordan Rhodes" for comments  |

The issue was that the transfer thread was full of posts not related to transfers.
Wouldn’t it have been easier to move the unrelated posts to a different thread and keep the actual transfer thread intact?
Shame.
Onto transfers, I have no idea if this featured on the old thread but Garner has moved to Watford so that’s that.

We had one... it was unanimous! Can you forward a copy of the constitution that shows the voting process and appeals process please. Also showing where administration of the board only requires two members and when and who proposed and seconded this and the result of the democratic vote. Hi all Following a superb suggestion from SW6, the admin team have created a new sub-board within Talk of the Town for transfer rumours. It follows a model used by Chelski forum The Shed End - www.theshedend.com/forum/2-chelsea-rumours/The idea is there's a general discussion thread in which new rumours might break, and then separate threads can be created for the specific rumours/players involved. Example post might read "Town have been linked with Joe Bloggs - read more here - LINK" with the link being to a thread about Joe Bloggs. Appreciate that some might think this is change for change's sake but the current transfer window thread is 197 pages long and it's impossible to follow the various trains of thought within it. We'll now move that thread to this board and lock it, to kick off the new thread. You can still read that here: downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/114213/summer-transfer-window-2020NOTE: Please don't reply here with rumours - feel free to give feedback on the new look/concept though.
