Itβs a strange one this, admitting the next person they look at is going to be their 5th choice. How does that go down with a player? Also does that mean Kongolo has Covid or they havenβt even tried to sign him He was in London over the weekend so doubtful he has Covid unless it was Fulham who picked up on it.

Now we know how desperate they are we should add a couple of million to our asking price.

Not if they get relegated... Is option only, we don't have to agree Depends on the nature of the deal, I suppose. We'd be crazy to agree to the option without covering ourselves surely. If WBA have a relegation clause town would insist on having the option to sell elsewhere, you'd think? Mind you......

We were stuffed with Mooy last season as once he'd played for both us and Brighton he couldn't play for anyone else. So when Brighton wanted to turn the loan into a permanent deal in January, we couldn't get a bidding war going.

We took Mbenza on loan in the prem and still had the obligation to buy despite relegation. We should insist on the same, if thats the sort of deal theyre thinking of. In the current climate I personally think getting anything north of Β£8m overall for Grant is great business. I see a decent championship striker, not one who'll excel in the prem. ( but id have a decent sell on clause in case Im wrong! )

No, he's just pointing out that Leeds are trying to wheedle out of paying theirs. A bit like Cardiff and the Emiliano Sala affair which seems to have dragged on and on and disappeared.

No - More that some* clubs seem to think that they don't have to honour the deal if they change their mind. * I can only think of Leeds

If Grant is so desperate for this move hopefully heβs had to budge on what he wants, Phil might have even talked him into signing a new contract Mooy style. That really could be a money maker if he scored goals but West Brom still went down.

Sounds like the foreign option is the backup, that should mean they want an outcome on grant very soon.If they need to go into the foreign market they only have until Monday.

Alan Nixon just tweeted that Rangers are after Bacuna. If we can get a decent fee I'd take it. I rate his ability hut he's infuriatingly inconsistent and his temperament is dodgy

Think weβre too lightweight in the middle to consider selling Bacuna unless thereβs a guaranteed replacement.

Disagree. Hogg, Eitling, Pritchard, O'Brien, Daly, Jackson.
We'll cope.

Dont think it would be a great loss to lose bacuna. When hes good he can be very good, but how often is that? Id say 90% of the time he's average to poor. If anything id say hes gone backwards since we signed him.

Can you imagine Bacuna and Morelos in the same team? Just a tad temperamental.

If anything id say hes gone backwards since we signed him. That's the issue with Bacuna, he's unreliable - he can be both useless and brilliant within the same 60 seconds and drifts out of games completely. With the way CC is setting us up, most of the players are one in one with their opponent for 90 minutes, which isn't Bacuna's game at all.

please god let this be true. the guy is the new Michael Collins. Only time you see him on the pitch is when he puts the bandages on and the sunglasses.
