ESR, Eiting and LOB sounds an impressive midfield trio on paper.

Why on earth would he want to come to us?

Why would we have "first dibs"? Many clubs would equal our loan valuation (if we were to be be interested ) it's then all about player development. It's almost inconceivable to me that arsenal's thinking would be "OK. He's had a spell at lower champ level so let's move this on.. To another season at lower champ level". That's not development that's stagnation. So I think we can forget it.

People think teams just want their players going to the best team.
Loan deals with players like this have so many factors.
The boxes we tick
- game time - development of mental attributes - development of character - style of play (once CC can instil it)

Yet there was a quote on here from a Man U coach that it was entirely down to Garner and his agent to decide which club he went to. Seems an odd way of caring for your valuable assets.

Not a cat in hells chance, only reason we got him was because of Webb and the Cowleys neither of which are here now.
He’ll be at a prem club or a European club I imagine.

I don't think he'll be coming here either but it's a bit much if we can't get him with a highly rated attacking coach but we could with a couple of PE teachers that had no discernible playing style

But as we know, that's all they are good at......

if we got him this season there would still be hope. the club need to back the manager to the hilt but all I've seen is the same shit Siewert ended up dealing with.

I suppose different clubs may have different protocol when loaning players out. Some may have the final say, some may leave that to the player (and his agent).

Wonder if there could potentially be a relationship between corberan and arteta?clearly that’s only speculation and I would be genuinely surprised if we managed to get esr back.On a side note I think most loan moves from the prem will happen once the actual transfer window closes once premier league clubs have done their business.
