I'm fairly sure that the club is deliberately trolling the shit out of the fans at this point and I'm actually quite impressed at their blatant shithousery if I'm totally honest.
We can all flap our arms around as much as we want, but unless any of you have a spare £100M under your floorboards then it is what it is. Football is fucked anyway so I'm past letting stuff like this bother me anymore. I'll still be keeping the faith and wasting most Saturday afternoons looking for a shit Slovakian stream before giving it up as a bad job and laughing my arse off at the bedwetters on here instead.

And therefore want to excite the fans with a late announcement Honestly, if we have signed someone to excite the fans - delay in the announcement is acceptable. If we've made a potentially astute but unspectacular signing (much like Ward was), then it needs announcing quickly. And if we have nobody - tell all. Realistically we won't be bringing anyone in, leaving us with a weaker squad than barely managed to survive last season, with our striker options being 2 poor crocks who'd struggle to score 10 goals between them even if they both played every game and some kids. Be a miracle if we have 10 goals and 10 points by the time the January window opens.
