As an avid second division Spanish football fan (been to one game), I've actually seen this lad play (well warm up, he was an unused sub). All I can remember was he looks a bit blurred (this might have been the Mahou).

If you're a Phil fan, he was unused sub for a team that beat the eventual playoff winners in the Spanish 2nd division, Elche, who now will be playing Barca and Real.
If you're not a Phil fan, he's so shit he was an unused sub for a shit second division Spanish team.

Whilst we’re at it, can admins ban any moron using the word “potless” in relation to PH and anyone using the word potless as part of their author name. Would go some way to improving the atmosphere on here. not seen him play but seen a few segunda matches the season he played for Cordoba (they got relegated). the standard of the league is good enough for me not to be worried about this being a Bockhorn style signing. He's only on a 1+1 year deal so I doubt he's going to blow the house down. As long as he fills in and does a job when needed for 10-15 games then that's a successful signing IMO. Hogg seems rejuvenated under CC and the back 3 looked good yesterday so I almost hope we don't see too much of him. Wish him luck with us all the same!

I think he is cover for Hogg who will have to play a lot of games as he seems to have that position to himself. He is also bound to pick up at least one suspension. Scott High is on loan until Jan when he might start to become part of the first team squad. This lad, at 6' 3", gives us some height at the back of midfield as well.
Edit: As mentioned in another post Scott is on a season long loan, my mistake.

I’m not sure it is odd. LOB came on to replace Bacuna yesterday and add a bit more energy, then when Eiting went off with five minutes to go we had to bring on Duhaney (not in any way slagging him off, but he’s a full back) as we didn’t have another option. He may not be a starter (he may also walk into the team, who knows?), but a short term deal until the end of the season, even just for cover and to get additional senior pros on the bench, looks good business to me. |

Is this a desperate attempt by the board to curry favour after the debacle of deadline day? He doesn’t seem to have a great background or play in an area we are particularly short in. I’ll reserve judgement. I do love how it’s got the sheep chewing a bit faster though
