Fuck the transfer deadline, I’m having my own crisis; I’ve just found out Shaun Wright-Phillips’ son is playing senior football!
Someone tell me he had a bus-stop fumble at 16.

'Drmic to Town not happening'
It was a short-lived link, as Josip Drmic looks as he's staying put in Norfolk....

I'll get them in early.. Can we still announce someone after 11pm? When does the loan window close? Any rentals in Lepton just been taken down? 1) If a deal sheet is submitted 2) No such thing as a loan window anymore 3) Can't help with this one

Wish I had your faith mate regarding the reboot. I’ve seen nothing to suggest Phil will ever back an assembly of a top half championship squad. Delighted to get Hoggy to stay but don’t hold my breath for the replacements of the final few big wages this summer to be anything more than other championship club’s cast offs a la Holmes, Ward or some 33 year old veterans, and cheap league one and two punts. With regards any season tickets I think myself and many others will be hanging fire until we see evidence he has enough financial clout to make the necessary signings to be successful at this level. Nailed it with that comment at the end, better things to do than watch mediocre on Saturdays Won't be risking my life to watch a bunch of football pensioners eek out a final wage.

Loan window closes tonight as well. We can only sign out of contract players after 11pm and they have to be out of contract now.

It would be nice to have a window which doesn’t end up like an episode of Challenge Anneka. I read this as Challenge Anelka Maybe that’s just how desperate I am for a striker.

Danny Graham contract terminated by mutual consent at Sunderland in last few hours.Would therefore be a free agent, tho not sure if he's of any interest to us.

Same usual bollocks that people come out with, unfortunately we never do ‘reboot’ in the summer We will undoubtedly have to reboot but it all depends on what with.. I suggest the recruitment team start searching out players now rather than leave it to the last day of the next transfer window... How about rebooting the recruitment team 😉

Window closed.
Please let’s close this thread now before someone else threatens to call Phil/Bromby/Hoyle something to their faces, knowing full well we aren’t going to be in the stadium for months to come.

I'll be happy if we just learn how to stop giving stupid goals away. That would be enough to keep us up and reshape the squad in the summer when all the useless overpaid waste of spaces are out of contract.

There's gonna be a lot of toys to put back in the pram Jeeez grown men too We will get enough points to stay up, and then with 13 players out of contract we can reboot in the summer Serious question Mids (and by the way you used to be a bit more mature a poster than to start talking about "toys/prams") - where is the money going to come from and/or have you seen any evidence whatsoever that we are going to spend much/any on players ? I don't get drawn into the extreme reactions that some do on here. It's pointless...much like Town most weeks lately Toys/Prams...it's true...not all by any means, but some folk need to give their head a shake. The money will come from out of contract players and their wages off the books. We may sell (O'Brien??) and reinvest? The next installment of Grant's transfer fee? Either way football is changing below the Premier League and the 'model' will be a lot different going forward. Players on realistic wages and smaller than desired (by fans) transfer fees. We will reboot in the Spring/Summer.

You could argue had that were it not for some pretty unfortunate injuries we would be in the top half now. It's only 4 points away which it can easily be argued Koroma may have chipped in with at least a couple of goals while he's been out to get us them 4 points. If you're only here to support a team that has a chairman with money I'd suggest you leave now. Did nobody support us before Hoyle came in or was just the £100 season tickets or Premier League that got everyone temporarily involved? For most of the last 40 years we'd have dreamed to be where we are now. I've hardly seen a single player go to a club at our level in this window that I thought we should have signed.

The only loan sheet that’s gone in today has been Hoyle’s reminder to Big Phil.

Apart from the glaring lack of a striker,
Not the worst window we have ever had, squad looks stronger, apart from the glaring lack of a striker - though I may have mentioned that.
