Definitely lost his way but some big Bundesliga sides saw to give him very long contracts. Record at National Level is decent. Of course it is a gamble but he has far more pedigree than any other striker we have been linked with. Saw bits of him in Bundesliga and he looked decent at that time and at that level. Scored for fun at Nürnberg. Just been chatting to a Norwich fan; says he’s got a very decent touch, but injuries and form never really meant he got a decent run under his belt. Says he’s frustrating because you can see there’s a very good player it’s just getting it to shine. Arguably he should find form easier to come by in the Champ, but Pukki and co have kept him in the shadows. The mention of injuries is a worry. Treatment room is already full.

Drmic Sounds like he scored a couple whilst they are in the prem despite playing most of his 16 games from the bench. Also scored in the cup vs Tottenham. And has two in two from their under 23 games. But has had a lot of injuries over the last 4 or 5 years. Recent form suggests he’s still got something and could do something at this level if he can stay fit and get a run of games. A bit desperate given his injury record but worth’s punt at this late stage.

😂😂😂 Happy with things are you? Do you not think the club looks ever so slightly amateur right now? 6 games without a win and 3 goals scored. Now onto what appears to be our 6th or 7th choice signings and players that don't appear to score many goals. Our transfer policy is a farce. In the scheme of things, I really couldn’t care less, we’re not going down and we never were going up... queue ‘we’re dropping like a stone’ quotes yawn Believe me I don't want to come across as negative. I think the last 2 years has worn me down. Also from looking at twitter we do appear to be a laughing stock to other clubs fans which is tough to take. From that glorious promotion season to now I just don't understand how it can go so wrong.

I think we have enough of those and if our training has anything to do with that he would struggle.

That’s that then, I s’ppose. Back to the meltdown following a brief interlude. As you were.

Drmic looks like someone to keep ward company in the injury room. Smith is a unit and someone to lump the 10+ corners we always seem to have and do nothing with.
Might not exactly fit carlosball, but we’ve been screaming for a way to break ppl down who park the bus. Maybe brute force is the way forward, would take smith in a heartbeat

DONE DEAL! Town sign striker Hodgkinson on a 10 year deal with the option of a 5 year extension for a disclosed fee of a packet of pork scratchings and a panda pop.

So expect to see three kids standing on each other's shoulders wearing a long mac and swearing they're a dead good striker, honest, from faraway Denkoland,

I suggest the recruitment team start searching out players now rather than leave it to the last day of the next transfer window...

It would be nice to have a window which doesn’t end up like an episode of Challenge Anneka.

I’ve seen nothing to suggest Phil will ever back an assembly of a top half championship squad. Delighted to get Hoggy to stay but don’t hold my breath for the replacements of the final few big wages this summer to be anything more than other championship club’s cast offs a la Holmes, Ward or some 33 year old veterans, and cheap league one and two punts. With regards any season tickets I think myself and many others will be hanging fire until we see evidence he has enough financial clout to make the necessary signings to be successful at this level.

Nailed it with that comment at the end, better things to do than watch mediocre on Saturdays. Carlos is clearly talented but needs the players to deliver his style of football. No more reset/reboot or rubbish like that, heard it too many times. The last 3 years have been wasted.
