One is easy - John Archer, front row third left. Don’t know how I know that. If you put smiley's after these comments I'd think you were joking but somehow I don't think you are. * Oh and by the way, it's only easy if you know the answer and if you're a certain age. Someone in their 0's to 50's probably isn't going to know. That’s told me off, hasn’t it. 😉

You sure there are 2 ex-Town? Guy to right of Archer with long sideboards didn’t play for Town if you’re mistaking him by his surname? Did I say two Town players? Ha, OK, the goalie then, Stephenson.

Did I say two Town players? Ha, OK, the goalie then, Stephenson. Correct! Directly behind Archer. Alan Stevenson became Commercial Director at HTAFC and oversaw the move to the new ground. Then went to Bolton and did exactly the same thing.

Easy. Don’t know how I know seeing as I’m not a Town fan. One is easy - John Archer, front row third left. Don’t know how I know that. Just... leave it... The thing is, you know that you're a Town fan, I know that you're a Town fan, and - if we're being honest - everybody on this board knows that you're a Town fan. I had some knuckle-dragging Town fan have a go at me outside the ground a year or so ago. My friend and I were making our way across the B&Q car park when it came through that Leeds had snatched a late winner against Reading. I said something along the lines of, "Excellent! Leeds are beating Reading!" This shaven moron who was walking almost alongside turned to me and said , "Why the F are you f-ing pleased that f-ing Leeds are f-ing winning?" "Because it keeps Reading below us," I replied. "I don't f-ing care - I don't f-ing want f-ing Leeds to f-ing win. Call yourself a f-ing Town fan? No real f-ing Town fan want f-ing Leeds to win, you f-ing c!" I went on to say that I don't care how many times Leeds win if they're beating teams in and around us. He continued chuntering and as we crossed Leeds Road he bumped into a mate of his and we could hear him moaning across the other side of the road at the top of his voice about the f-ing c over there who f-ing cheered when f-ing Leeds f-ing scored. To be honest, I stand by this every week - I don't give a damn about Leeds winning if it's to our advantage. In fact I don't care WHO wins as long as it benefits Town. Who wouldn't? I would guess that this chap's general conversations must be scintillating.

Who the f does he think he is? TBH, I’m totally stressed out because our house is under offer and I really don’t want to sell. We’re downsizing mainly to help our daughter and her husband and two boys get a decent house, but then we have to play fair to our son as well. It’s bloody demoralising to downsize, and I’m just hating it all at the moment. TBH we need to downsize ‘cos the garden is bloody hard work and for inheritance tax reasons. Haven’t found owt yet. For some reason I just don’t cope well with house moves. Just fed up with everything..... including Town.

You could probably get a house the same size as the one you're selling (with a smaller garden) for a lot less money therefore you're able to help out your daughter (and son) as planned. You wouldn't have a 450 mile round trip for Town matches (saving even more money) and you'd be back near your friends and family and all the good Yorkshire folk. Win win?

Oh, I’d do it in a flash, and we’d all have fantastic houses, but the problem is my wife’s a Londoner, our kids were both born in Epsom, our son has a very good job in London and our son-in-law works for McLaren in Woking. Won’t happen, unfortunately, though I have suggested it!

To be honest, Chris - wherever you move to (and I can fully understand your attachment to your house - it is bloody gorgeous!) - it will soon feel like home, as soon as you have found a space for the computer and that spreadsheet with all your Town history on - it'll all be fine 😉

One of my Dads fave players was Jimmy Nich, The other surprisingly was Parkin.
I don't think I have ever seen nor heard of Jimmy Nich at any games,, Did he used to be invited MT ? I suppose I will have missed it if he has

Love it when this thread appears with new stuff on it.
The 60s/70s players who look 10 to 20 years older than they are, the hair 😳 and facial furniture.
Used to have loads of FL reviews and picked up the discarded ones (why? They just got chucked away as junk).
On topic - I’ve met Bob McNab (pictured earlier) a few times. Cracking fella, but boy can he talk. He came to Wenger’s last game and was delighted that the autograph hunters outside recognised him - his daughter had to drag him away eventually (“he’ll be there all bloody day if I let him”). Dropped off his tickets the day before and left an hour and a half later.

All I did was call you out for not watching Town games on iFollow (or any other online stream) while thinking your usually valid critique carried the same weight as when you watched most of the games in person. I'm really sorry that I've pissed you off and touched a nerve, but Ryan Schofield will be glad that I defended him from internet trolling, I'm sure. Just to add... your 'Who do you think you are?' comment was priceless! :-)
